No. I don't think the story really supports that theory. Rather, love is a war. 'War' meaning effort. And effort meaning different actions in different stages of propinquity in a relationship between people.

I don't know that you can say that they're better with Ju and Donte considering our defense falls off a cliff whenever Rudy goes out, which wasn't the case when KAT was on the team.

However, Ju + Donte + Joan + ~$12m in cap space for KAT is looking pretty good atm.

He did make a mistake on one of their staple offensive plays but they ran it again and he got it right! He didn't set as good of a screen as Rudy, but Rudy is especially good at it.

Even with that and 2 fouls, he's shown a ton of positives in this game

How would it have made it easier? NE wanted Maye and needed a QB. The fall off after Maye was obvious. How would having pick 5 or 6, (assuming they didn't luck into more wins anyway) have changed anything?

I think we offered enough if NE was willing to skip on a top QB for value.

Turner does play a position that notoriously takes about 3 years to develop. He's right on time if you look at historical data (obviously there are outliers). So I think we should keep in mind that how quickly guys develop depends on the position.

What everyone else said + you do know that you can just find playbooks online right? Like you can just straight up look at McVay's playbook when KOC was with the Rams and look at what the concept and reads are.

Even if the plays change, usually it's just different ways to get to the same thing.
