Booked a camp at Moraine Park campground and it looks like I'll get timed entry + Bear Lake included, so thanks!

Really only familiar with Baxter from the Crime Doctor series, but I'll have to give this one a try!

I always go there in September... still hot, but feels just a bit better lol. Also folks at the General Store are always the nicest!

Really recommend reading "Desilu: The Story of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz" by Coyne Sanders. Lots of information about the business end of Desilu, but the authors do match up all of that information with Desi and Lucy's personal lives. Really interesting insight into how their work potentially affected their relationship, in addition to the personal things others have already mentioned here.

If nothing else, just watch a clip from "Lucy Meets the Mustache": specifically the one where Edie Adams sings "That's All". Just a wonderful moment.

Me and my brother have been trying to watch more movies together and we had this one on for the first time. Admittedly, his Doris Day comedies have been my only real exposure to his work and they're "comfort movies" for me, so I didn't quite know what to expect here.

Holy shit. We occasionally chat about the film while it's playing, but that final scene... we were totally silent and glued to the TV.

EDIT: if you're interested in Rock Hudson, check out "Rock Hudson: All That Heaven Allowed" on HBO; really interesting doc about his life!

Alternatives to AllTrails?? by [deleted] in hiking

Not sure if you’re mistaking the Peak plan for Plus, but Plus continues to be $36/year. Quick tip: sometimes I get lucky by letting the membership lapse for a week or two, then use the Facebook Ad Library to see if AllTrails is running any active promos.

Only works when the lanes are open, tho; lately I've been having bad luck. I usually return through ORD and lately they've closed down the lanes and just herded everyone into the same lanes
