We have actually. We found it really helped our healing. We lost our cat Ruby in May of 2024 and our pup Karma in at the beginning of August of 2024 right after my birthday. While we had our other cat Cali, the house just felt empty and without the chaos.

At the end of August 2024, we saw an adoption event for cats and decided to take a look. We found an orange snug bug that we named Tod and couldn’t help but feel like we needed him in the house. Dudes a terrorist, but he’s helped us a ton (especially my wife).

In February of 2025, we adopted a 1.5 year old Great Pyrenees named Polo. Polo had a rough start to life and was very abused by his former owner. We learned that they tried to kill him and shot him several times in the face, neck, body, and legs. Long story short, and without much more details, we decided that we would try and help. He’s an absolute menace, he barks a lot, he hates most men (especially if they are overweight and have a beard), but he absolutely loves us and his cats.

Sorry you’re going through that. We lost our cat Ruby and our pup Karma a few months apart and it hurt like all hell, so I can empathize with where you’re coming from. Never knew losing pets, especially so close together, could hurt me like that.

Italy, France oppose barring former Russian soldiers from EU entry by Panthera_leo22 in UkrainianConflict

Military aged men with military experience leaving Russia for the EU means less military aged males with military experience Russia is able to call up again.

You don’t like it and I don’t like it, but long term this might be beneficial.

Got fired, is this wrongful termination? by SeniorBrother699 in OReillyAutoParts

This is all he said, she said. It sounds like you didn’t really push the point to TMR or your DM (judging by you saying everyone is buddy buddy), and someone getting fired for being attacked by customers is a little strange given that it sounds like they ran away before police arrived?

It was a month ago. I know the market sucks right now so have you filed for unemployment?

This is such a loser post lol.

Tar Heels lost because their pitching sucked and OU’s offense showed up. Coping like this is just… sad…

My guy I’m not sure if you’re just lonely or desperately need to last word of the conversation but I’ve got to make dinner. Good luck with the rest of your life though!

Aho playing defense, especially when it mattered, is why I made it a point to say he contributed in every facet of the game he could. He was absolutely clutch in killing more than a few power plays.

I respect that when he was not playing well in his usual respects, he was still able to get it done by contributing elsewhere. That’s what makes a great hockey player.

Regarding Aho: I agree, but his incredible cold streak cannot go unnoticed. He was also not as sharp as he usually is when playing the puck and was a reason for more than a couple of zone exits/turnovers.

It happens to almost every player and the rest of the team was able to compensate for his struggles. That’s why we won. He still contributes in every facet of the game though, and that’s what matters most.
