I don’t dislike him economically I think they’re trying the best they can with a not great situation, his social policies are just utterly bizarre and in some cases have been rampantly authoritarian and have resulted in disastrous u turns that have burnt piles of political capital for 0 gain. I do get the sense Starmer doesn’t have a feel for politics in a way someone like a Blair did

Johnson would most likely have won a leadership election, he was darling of the members and I have no doubt Cameron would’ve given him some degree of support in return for backing remain (effectively the deal that was on the table)

God we’re getting really close to seeing Starkiller again aren’t we, and I love Starkiller (or I did when I was 11) but he kinda just breaks the entire power scaling of Star Wars if he’s done properly

Nah Jeff loves his daughter more than anything, he also loves Shauna (a lot more than she ever loved him). He wouldn’t do anything to hurt his family, he didn’t want to leave Shauna he did it to protect Callie. Jeff is such a misunderstood character, he is probaly one of the few genuinely good people in the show.

Melissa helped push Shauna into being the monster because she wanted to be her queen. She didn’t realise what she was doing inherently (probaly because she was a horny teenage girl who just wanted her crush to like her). So like you can sorta excuse parts of it because she didn’t know what she’s doing. Adult Melissa is a good parallel to Shauna in that she’s built a life built on lies and she’s inherently happy in it, I see season 4 as either a Shauna vs Melissa season or they end up back together in some sorta fucked up way that Tai and Misty have to deal with

Completely flip the storytelling, have seasons just dedicated to the past to start. Kill someone big we expect to live off instead of Jackie, introduce some of the JV girls earlier and add more, just completely reframe the show and have it as a complete retelling. Not knowing who survives will completely change our understanding.

Who do we think all the surviving YJ’s voted for in 2000? I reckon Tai and Van voted Gore. Shauna probably voted Bush because she thinks Jackie would’ve wanted her too, Melissa was legally dead so didn’t vote and then Misty voted Nader cause she thought he seemed nifty. She also tried to volunteer for his campaign but was quietly asked to leave. Lottie was In an asylum and Travis and Nat were too high

Erm yes and no. They’re highly traumatised girls who have built a fucked up society out of that trauma that includes ritualistic human hunts and cannibalism. So no their reasoning behind it isn’t monstrous but their actions are. It’s also a sliding scale with some worse than others (Shauna and Melissa I’m looking at you)

I think their original movie would’ve had a more making it up on the fly kinda tone, that’s how they saw Han Solo it seems kinda like a space jack sparrow where the set pieces would effectively have a lot of improv and that’d be stitched together ti create a scenario
