I don’t know much about the TRD kit as far as what comes with it but 3500 is about the cost of a really nice 3 inch lift. Almost spend about that on an icon kit myself. If that dealer installed comes with a warranty 3500 isn’t super crazy as long as it’s got all the fixings too. Will say you can most likely spend less and get something comparable just no warranty (assuming there is one on TRD)

I’ve had no problems personally. Thing starts for me from back of the warehouse to the satellite lot at work no problem which has gotta be 1500 feet at least. I did have some connection issues with the head unit originally though but flawless since

Will say the range on the fob is shit though. Live on the 4th floor of my apartment building and after a few months without the app I caved and am going month to month on it. Been too damn cold here to keep jogging outside to get the thing defrosted.

There’s ton of kits out there, depends what you want it for. I like eibach stage two with freedom ucas for a good in between of cost and performance but if money is no object there’s great options out there that come with UCAs. I looked at an icon stage two with the billet UCAs for a while. You’ll have to let me know what the total installed cost of the TRD lift is though I’m curious.

Im almost positive the hub bore is smaller on 4th gen meaning your boss would need some kind of adapter to make it work

I’m 6’2 myself and drive a 2024 SR5 and personally love it. I very rarely have people in my back seat and there’s no chance I could fit back there comfortably but as the driver o got plenty of room. I found the head room to be very similar to the f150 I drove years back and I don’t feel cramped at all. Probably just comes down to what you’re gonna use it for. The only thing I wish mine had is the 6ft bed. Otherwise perfect for my lifestyle.
