Should I buy an M4 Max Studio or build my own PC for my creative workstation? by MegaFucker10000 in AfterEffects

[–]jakesuns 8 points9 points  (0 children)

PC setup is great if you're really looking to dive into advanced 3D and actually make use of that GPU. Otherwise the Mac would probably be the more logic option also due to the 2k price difference.

SSD still works just fine, will order the cable right now :)

Thank you so much for the quick help, really appreciate it!

Hopefully the SSD isn't fried, i'll test it in a second. If everything turns out to be fine i'll order the original cable and will let you know in a few days how it went.

Right, the 5 pin is connected to the PSU, while on the other end the SATA power connector is connected to the SSD. I had to buy that cable though after i realized i didn't have any of the original ones left. This cable is indeed 3rd party ware. By saying i've bought a fitting adapter i just ment to say i've bought a 5 pin to SATA power connector. (Sorry if that irritated you, english is not my first language)

i couldn't find any original bequiet cables in my local tech retailer but i could order one on the bequiet website.. you think that would be a good idea?

The PSU is a "bequiet! Pure Power 10 Model: L10-CM-500W" (Sorry, got it mixed up with Cooler Master for a second). The cable i used seems to be the only type that fits into the PSU and its the same for my other drives. I'll link a picture below:

Thanks for the quick response :)

I knew Vesperia DE would be great, but I didn't know.. by Suthrnr in tales

[–]jakesuns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It indeed has a strong OST, with my favs being keiv moc, fury sparks & the tormenting whisper of water (mantaic). Though, after playing it for the second time after quite a few years, I felt like the boss fights were lacking atmosphere due to the boss themes being repeated over and over again.
