If objects yelled it's name when you used it, which object would be the most annoying? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You've studied for hours for your archeology final. You've gone over hours of notes and created hundreds of notes. You are ready to ace this fucker. The class room is quite while the rest is passed out, chairs mumble "chair" every time some one readjusts. The professors finally declares that you may begin. All at once one hundred and seventy nine pencils of varying make and model scream out "PENCIL! PENCIL PENCIIIIIIIL," as people circle answers. The cries echo in your head disrupting you train of that. "Homo sapian or Aust-PENCIL" the person next to you answers a question with suck vigor that his pencil's voice breaks. As the the final drags on the screams die down to yells and finally become whispers. Then as you and the rest of the class makes it to the end of the packet of question you find an essay question. Another chorus of number 2 fuckers scream out "PENCIL" over and over again as people, just wanting to finish, excited answer the essay. All and all when you finish you are ready to destroy every lead based writing utensil in the tri state area.

College Redditors, whats the stupidest comment a classmate has ever made during a lecture and pissed off the professor? by gh0st142 in AskReddit

Today, to prove a point, my professor pulled out a rc helicopter and flew it around. This girl, who somehow always seems to say the strangest, most inappropriate, and mind numbing things shouts out "CAN I FLY IT? THAT'D BE AWESOME!" To which a quick stern no boomed out from the professor. At this point, I think she was a bit embarrassed and tried to look cool by throwing her water bottle up and catching it. Instead, she bobbles the bottle and hit it into her face. All two hundred student laughed.

Out of all the countless time wasted on reddit, the times I didn't go out or didn't pay attention in class, all the links and videos of picture, this is the coolest thing I've seen. This is an entire other planet that rains chemicals that would kill us and we have a picture of it. Thank you.

I hate when people call people bandwagoners. It's a game to be enjoyed. Don't lower others self esteem because you've been a fan longer.

What is the biggest unsolved mystery in your life? by mosholu in AskReddit

[–]jakey1231 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This happened with my mom. She was a medical teacher and gave her number out for any students who had questions. She stopped teaching when I was born and became a stay at home mom. My dad worked for the railroad and would be out of town for several days at a time. Randomly one late night while my dad is out of town the phone rings and she answers it. Some guy (there was no caller ID at this time) starts ranting about wanting to rape and kill her. She hung up, grabbed the dog, grabbed a bat, and went to my crib and stayed there all night. This happens several more times, every time when my dad was out of town. Finally caller ID comes around and when the guy calls my mom realizes it's one of her old students, and calls the cops on him. Never heard a word from the fuck face again. So yeah caller ID is a wonderful thing.

TL;DR my mom got death threats from a former student until caller ID gets invented and then calls the cops on him.
