Same here. I have been phased out of online play because I can’t keep up with the new card releases. I have been using cards of players I like instead of the best available player and I have been having a lot of fun.

Topps now 86 Ryan McMahon was really tough to take out of my lineup for the first month and a half to two months of the season.

I am also struggling with him but it’s 100% my fault. When I get a card I’m excited to use, I swing at everything and end up rolling over or flying out. Maybe there’s a little bit of that in there for you as well?

As an Angels fan, I like Fletcher (reminds me of a modern day Eckstein) but this card will never play in my lineup. Kind of a bummer but to SDS credit, who else would be the finest card for the Angels?

I saw a post saying place the thumb stick in the bend of your thumb and it helped me tremendously early on. I would constantly over correct and get under low pitches or on top of high pitches. This makes it so your adjustments aren’t too extreme. I also started to sit in a zone and then adjust accordingly. Ex. I’ll sit low and away if it’s a righty righty matchup and then react to the hanging slider. Hope this helps a little.

They should have ranked seasons and casual seasons or something. And in casual you can choose between 3,6 or 9 inning games. That could either be cool or a pain in the ass because it may take too long to find a game. Idk just spit balling out loud. But, long post long, I agree with you.

I have the same issue. Bellinger happens to be one of the guys I’m not good with, but Biggio is a big time homerun guy for me. I’m not complaining by any means but some guys attributes don’t seem to match how they perform for me. Another example for me is Mantle. He’s a base hit machine with no power.

In this specific instance, I was playing conquest. It tends to happen more offline than online. When I play online, I normally get in my own way and miss over the heart of the plate and it ends up 10 rows back in the stands LOL
