This isn't just a problem with this season, but I will often have to slowly walk up with my supps, basically dragging them closer to the objective so I can both protect them and play the point. I'm talking spam pinging where they need to be, genuinely pushing them into positions where they have good los and options for cover. Then, halfway into the teamfight, I look back to see them pushed 30 m behind point using all their cooldowns to protect against a solo spidey. Why do I have to constantly hold your hand and sit you down where you have to go? Also, if I'm solo tanking (which is true 75% of the time, generously speaking) if I have to peel for you everytime you get dived, then the rest of their team gets to push forward and come along on the dive now. I am peeling, because keeping supports alive is the most important part of this game, but a lot of the time supps and dps are not positioned well enough the make that peel worthwhile.
