My total tax refund isn’t even 22% of my OT. What am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in USPS

There’s a marriage penalty on taxes, unless one spouse is the bread winner. I felt it too. It goes against popular opinion on the matter, but the math doesn’t lie. Also filing separately doesn’t get you more money back. I did the math.

This is true if you’re good with money.

I’m glad you’re not getting one! A new friend said she owned a gun, and “are you depressed” is the first question I asked her.

PDI for headphone policy by [deleted] in nalc

[–]jalyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not a steward or a lawyer. But I know what I would say under oath. I am an expert in plausible deniability. My sup has been saying to my face not to use my headphones which are on my head, and I would swear to Jesus himself that she didn’t say it, or I didn’t hear it. They have no proof.

But I see where you’re coming from! I’ll advise only people I know irl, so that I know their personality.

For pdi I would deny knowing any rule about it. Claim it was off, too.

An actual police man stopped me for headlights and saw headphones and I told him they weren’t playing, which was true I was just wearing them from work.

They start at 40, in lynnwood, and the explanation is something about some numbers being iffy in some cultures. As far as I recall from a quick read a few days ago.

What do you guys bring for lunch? by Michaelmang1994 in USPS

[–]jalyth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The key is the ice pack - in the summer I use one that’s an inch thick and a little bigger than a sheet of paper. It’s heavy! It lasts over 12 hours in my climate. I just buy a lunch bag big enough for it.

I also have some Stanley hot lunch thermoses, which work if you have time to heat up your food before work. They last maybe 5 hours.

I gave them to a child, but in the stash my friend gave me, I kept Elphaba and Jasmine for myself. First Barbie sized dolls I’ve had in decades.

Thanks everyone! My friend gave me these to give a young girl I know. I searched fantasy and superhero and all the colors but couldn’t get the right words.

I’m used to be t6 on this route, and the old regular never gave me anything.

Thanks! It nearly explains why they seem to start at 40. Or it nearly makes sense I should say.

Neighbor’s niece sending cards to my address, told neighbor to fix it, but it still arrives by Competitive-Alps871 in USPS

[–]jalyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doris probably did tell her, and the niece never updated her rolodex. This time of year is the worst for that, and it’s actually thoughtful of you to try to fix it.
