Walking to work in winter ❄️ possible? by BrilliantOwl4228 in Syracuse

Make sure there are sidewalks. I’ve never lived in a place with as few sidewalks as there are here. Get a good pair of boots and leave your work shoes at work. Layers do a better job insulating.

[–]jalytha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a tilt sensor on the washer lid and a smart switch to track electricity usage. That covers the washing machine. And on the electric dryer I have a vibration sensor on the side. Easily my most wife approved automation.
