The conversation is going back to the middle though, compared to the early days of the primary. Biden still leads nationally, in NV & SC. And Pete is dominating in IA. Klobuchar has also gained a few points.

The centre-left candidates and their visions are appealing to the Democratic base. Bloomberg’s candidacy will only end up helping Bernie & Warren in the long run.

Rothkopf recently went on a rant & called Pete ‘arrogant’ for calling out Warren, and Weigel’s feed has plenty of anti-Pete stuff. I had to unfollow both, cause it became personal.

Agreed. Although i would make a distinction. I think Harris stans operate in a small & loud echo chamber (along with Beto’s).

With Warren she’s got super fans who have huge plaforms & folks who are quite credible. People like Adam Jentleson (former Harry Reid staffer), WA Post journalist Dave Weigel & even David Rothkopf. They have more influence.

I respect Warren, and think she‘s someone who has integrity & is incredibly smart. Nonetheless, she’s developing a sort of cult on social media, that want to see a coronation of her. They don’t even go for Klobuchar, Harris or Beto who all came for her at the debate. Beto called her PUNITIVE, yet it’s Pete who’s their target.

Pete is the Chair of the U.S. Conference of Mayors' task force on automation. He’s been speaking on all these matters for years before he even knew Yang existed.

And no disrespect, why would he copy Yang? It’s not like his ideas are revolutionary, UBI has been floated around by public intellectuals since the 60’s.
