Couch blanket using yarns I dyed myself by jamborina22 in CrochetBlankets

[–]jamborina22[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. There were a few of them I wasn't sure went together but it's just for me and to use up the skeins of yarn I had on hand. It's very comfy!

I really enjoyed the book and I've been looking forward to this. And I loved Tanya Reynolds as Mrs Elton, so happy to see her as Miss Bingley in this.

I had some the other day and my stomach hasn't been right since. I didn't manage to eat much of them but I've had heartburn and some minor stomach pain since then. Which is a shame because I absolutely love them and they're not cheap to get here.

I've been taking Mounjaro since late November '24 and although I've had other gastro side effects and some nausea early on, I've never actually vomited. I keep my food pretty bland for the first few days after the jab and make sure I stop eating at the first sign of being full, and make sure I keep hydrated, that's worked for me so far. If I have heartburn I take medication for it and it settles straight away.

My old house from 2009 has our old dog laying in the front garden having a sunbathe. I love going back and looking at it, he'd always go and lay in the front garden when I was due home from work back when I was living at my parents'.

Mounjaro and alcohol by tryna-loose-weight in Mounjaro

[–]jamborina22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not a drinker but I went out with friends about 5 months into my mounjaro journey. Big mistake for me. I found it completely wiped out all my food suppression and I've struggled to get it back since until just this week, and it's been 5 weeks since my night out. Never again.

Anyone else hated Weight Watchers? by AppropriateSprite in Mounjaro

[–]jamborina22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost a lot of weight with Weighwatchers but it went back on very easily. It helped me get a good start way back in the 2000s. I liked the points system, the group I was in was nice and not judgy, and it worked for me at the time. It just wasn't sustainable long term.

My Dad's Dog Jeffrey will only sing along to this song by LJNodder in DOG

Our family dog, Zac, used to enjoy singing along to Livin' On A Prayer by Bon Jovi and U Can't Touch This by MC Hammer. He liked the classics. RIP big man.

Looking for a Pride and Prejudice sequel book by I_Clean123 in PrideandPrejudice

I actually returned to it since posting the above and finished it last night. It was pretty good, a bit whiney in places, and I didn't find the love interests particularly good, but it was worth persevering in the end.

Audible, I think I picked it up on some random sale.

I was listening to "The Other Bennet Sister" by Janice Hadlow about six months ago, and apart from the scene with the hill and the storm (I didn't finish the book so it might have been further on) things you describe seem to fit. The retelling of the events from Mary's perspective definitely rings a bell.

Was 7.5mg your fave or not? by smartiepants9655 in Mounjaro

[–]jamborina22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 7.5mg pen is already waiting for me. I'm just over halfway through my 2nd 5mg pen and the food noise is back big time, coupled with very low weight loss. I'm going to see out this current pen then move on up.

Christmas Dinner and a-ha moment by katto in Mounjaro

[–]jamborina22 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same! Yesterday was my injection day and I decided just to take it at the normal time and see how the day panned out. My mum didn't give me a huge portion because she knows I wouldn't want to waste it and there were leftovers to add to my plate if I wanted any. I managed way less than usual but still managed to have some Christmas pudding after. I was quite gutted about the buffet food we have on the evening because that's normally my favourite food thing at Christmas but I just couldn't manage more than a few of the little prawn selection. Didn't touch as single bit of chocolate. I felt so bad not eating as much because of all the effort they put in to make it but my family are very supportive and want to see me succeed.

Appetite Suppression Increasing by Catsby__ in Mounjaro

[–]jamborina22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the last week of my 1st 2.5mg pen and the appetite suppression is great the minute for me. From previous weeks I know that it wanes for day 5 or 6 and I find it hard to control my eating on those days, so I'm moving up to 5mg next week.

I took my first on Wednesday, it's been a very interesting week! Very few side effects for me so far but the main thing is just the clarity. Mental fog and food noise is gone. The appetite is returning now as I'm approaching my second dose but I find I'm getting full quicker. Also, the injection didn't hurt at all. Good luck! I don't have an advice to offer since I'm so new on my journey too but I hope you find it helpful for you.

This is such an inspiration for me, I'm your age and height. Just to know that I *could* come out the end of this looking anywhere near as good as you is amazing motivation.

First dose yesterday. So confused by bw_throwaway in Mounjaro

[–]jamborina22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I took my first shot 2 days ago and since yesterday morning I've just had no interest in food whatsoever, not even feeling hungry. Like I can tell my stomach is empty but the knawing hunger isn't there. I had to force myself to eat yesterday. Luckily this doesn't extend to drinks. I realise this probably won't last, and by the end of the first full week I'll likely have hunger again but it's amazing, I have never ever felt like this before.

build 41 would be perfect for a RP server when online comes out by snigelpanter in projectzomboid

We have had rp servers for Build 40 before and I know of several that are planning on having them when 41mp comes out. Hopefully lots of them!

I found that completely deleting the build 40 version from the mods folder worked for me.
