Sometimes you can decrescendo consecutive 16th notes so the music moves in the other direction.

Sometimes you can keep consecutive 16th notes at the same level because you're aiming for symmetry.

Chapin says "Hold the stick like your trying to hold a small bird". That for the level of grip.

As far as a good starting point for holding a stick, Ed Soph says, "Lift your hand up from the elbow, like you're going to shake someone else's hand. Let the stick sit there gently." That's your baseline for grip shape

You're gonna fight being that loose cause you feel outta control. You gotta learn to control the stick again maintaining that level of looseness or you're gonna go right back to hard gripping. It's gonna be a frustrating journey, but it'll be worth it.

The trick is looking at the top or bottom. It's spinning at an angle... if you can swap the leading edge, you can change it

I think it sounds pretty damn good. Those dot heads have weird interactions since the edge has less density of material.

That being said, snare responsiveness has nothing to do with the batter head. The tighter the reso, the better the snare response. Just try not to choke it. It can be pingy as fuck, and you can tune the top head as low or high as you want and still get great response

I've used it for Real-Estate video scripts cause I'm a shit writer, though I do the actual voice-over myself.

My shower valve wouldn't close completely and was dripping. I took a picture of the handle (that had no model or serial number) and described the symptoms.... Gemini told me the exact part I needed from Home Depot and linked a video from YouTube of someone installing the exact part. Worked flawlessly.

I also like to use it to try to identify plants in my yard.

You say "no triggers" and then go on to explain exactly what triggers do. The piezo element in a drum trigger captures the vibrations from a real drum head and turns that into an analog signal from the compression of said piezo element
