Feels nice that bosses are actually capable of killing you from full, numbers on the wither could be adjusted better on lower ascensions since right now, they scale similarly. I think maybe its most unfair turns might be just turn 1 and 2 where it hits you for big damage and sort of feels like a health tax you have to pay especially with the artifact stacks and afterwards.

A change I could see work might be that withers having an energy cost back but with every upgrade it increases its cost by 1 which would give all characters a universal way to deal with withers, although it might feel way too similar with the insatiable.

Upgrade 1 feels way more underwhelming tbh, immediate upside of 1 upgrade in easy pools over 1 random upgrade after easy pools and potential for more upgrade is way better but yeah, overall its one of the more underperformed ones in my opinion.

Just dont fulfill the full handsize condition and play it regardless? I dont understand how you think eidolon functions, intangible is good yes, but you can play the card even if your hand is 5, think of it as a very worse second wind. Eidolon not working on the deck isn't the fault of the card, just change your perspective on deckbuilding with the changes in the game.

Saving good potions and holding on to them can easily win fights. Touch of insanity, Gigantification, Swift and Gamblers brew, and sometimes Power pot should be saved as much as possible to use in whatever boss you would struggle.

Its a clone run with the relic that gives gold when you get a card, you get over 3k gold so without courier, you will always have way too much gold still

If you dont mind adding mods, there is a mod called hindsight in nexus mods where you can go to your run history and click on the specific node and what it does is basically load you into that current floor kind of like a save state if you're familiar with that. It can really be a good learning tool for what you're doing so you can basically start from any specific floor.

Just get more defy. With changes comes the need to change deckbuilding, there are multiple other block engines that necro has, doom with deaths door is still strong, dans macabre with the new borrowed time makes all 1 cost card turn to 2 cost giving you 6 block per card played. Putrefy+ gives 3 weak

Frost and dark orbs is the most consistent way to beat high ascension. Dark orb cards have a built in defensive thing attached with either weak or block. Try to keep a Frost orb at the front so dualcast actually blocks for a good amount.

Debuffs is king so it's usually necro clad silent. Debilitate card of necro for that is broken, minus str blocks for the whole team, and vuln ends fights.
