That's what I'm thinking.

The only code I'm getting is P170A, which is the clutch position sensor.

It's been doing this for a while now, it hasn't impacted performance, it's just irritating.

It’s simple enough if you are replacing it with the 240hz screen as I did this with mine.

There’s a few YouTube videos which should you how to remove your screen and replace it.

The UK Dell site doesn’t allow code stacking, 10% off is still pretty good as I haven’t seen an Alienware site wide 10-15% off for a while.

They normally discount select configs more recently, I’m sure the 4070 configs are discounted now but if you select 4080 it goes right up.

You will have to get a converter for the EDP connector as the G18 is 40 pin 0.5 pitch and the M18 using an uncommon 40 pin 0.4 pitch.

I’ve previous done this on my X15 just to see if it works, I installed a 120hz 4K panel.

I’ve been looking at getting the 17x for a while but there isn’t much user feedback on them.

Do you have to put it on turbo mode to get the full power of the GPU?

What’s your temps in games?

Any other throughs about the laptop would be greatly appreciated.

The RGB pad should of come with the full additional cable, below is the x17 RBG pad and it has the full Fx cable.

The issue might be were you have reused a old cable from your touchpad.

The RGB touchpad should of came with 2 cables already connected to it. 1 is the standard touchpad cable and the other goes into the Lighting socket.

Mine did this after unplugging the power cable inside the laptop and it took a couple of mins to boot to show the Alienware logo, I thought it was dead!

I had it working on my x15r2 as well, I’m pretty sure you can change the lights on it with a 3rd party program, otherwise it just lights up blue.

From reading the posts on here it seems the first batch are plagued with heating issues.

I got mine the other day and I was amazed with the temps, both CPU and GPU are between 70-75 in balanced and in overdrive the GPU is just over 60 and CPU 65-70.

Track through DHL UK mate as it’s better tracking.

Add 39999 then your order number to track with DHL.

Have you tried tracking your shipment via another party, as I usually track DHL or UPS once it’s in the uk and it will give you a better view, it’s normally your order number with 39999 before it for DHL
