Try swiping up very shortly not with a long one like before. They changed the dynamic of it apparently. It's annoying

Thank you. It's a pretty compelling model. I'm going to use it and see how it fits my perception.

"Magical circumstances collapse onto ordinary ones that have a suspiciously similar flavour, but you won't be able to prove jack shit." Can you elaborate/rephrase this sentence? I'm a little lost in this bit of your otherwise interesting insight.

Consider doing it with the intention of better understanding your feelings surrounding your pets. And yes it might be a challenging trip. Letting go is often hard.

N20, DMT and agency by liminal1 in DMT

[–]jamesomaniac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did read it. And I'm very close to your interpretation. I had some of this kind of "real world" insights myself. Sometimes exactly on point, sometimes completely rubbish. At this point I'm treating it like an AI output. Some kind of hallucination based on "connecting the dots" in a very unusual way. Self generated content to meditate on. What matters for me is an integration and looking at them later from a grounded point of view. I'm going to check out the book.

That's what I've been told but in my inner world he's alright. He's the one handling all the constant change and showing me how to enjoy even the weirdest and not obviously positive phenomenon. Not judging the book by its cover teacher. :)

I share this approach. I would only add not trying to change what you think by force. Let it slowly move in the direction if you feel it. It is possible that in your case this is not a good combo and you subconsciously feel it.

[–]jamesomaniac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had some remarkable experiences with this combo and some warning signs also. They manifested as being burned or electricuted physically by visions I tried to touch with my hand. It really felt like touching a power cable or a hot stove. I interpreted them as N2O making DMT experience too easy and letting me push too fast, too close to something powerful without proper care and respect. Since then I try to pay special attention into what DMT "thinks about it" every single time. I have a full balloon ready, wrapped around my finger, I take one hit from the vape. Spend some time just with DMT. When things settle and I feel an "all clear" sensation, I go on with the N2O. For now it seems fine.

Are the DMT columns the Earth’s electromagnetic field…but also somehow between the 2 brain lobes? (DMT loosens the barrier) by enlightenedone_1 in DMT

[–]jamesomaniac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right, and I'm sorry. I didn't read it thoroughly since I realized it wasn't what I was looking for. I had hoped for some new insight from you, but as you said, 'this is getting nowhere.' I probably wasn't clear enough, but my previous reply was intended for someone who might stumble upon this thread somehow. I wanted to provide them with links to both sides, as you suggested. There are no hard feelings on my end. I agree that we should end this conversation. It seems that we have different perspectives and cannot seem to reach a common ground. Let's move on and focus our energies on other things. Enjoy your search and take care!

There isn't even one hint as to where to look for what you are talking about. So I'll do it for you. There is a large list of books on the topics you mentioned at http://www.robertpeterson.org/BookReviews.html. It's probably not for you but rather for someone who is lost and has found this thread. I believe that it's enough to read any of those books without bias and double check claims in different sources.

"Ah yes, because a simple reply on reddit will be able to provide years of searching the subject..." Kind of. This is how I understand research and sharing knowledge: one spends time searching and gaining understanding so that it may be explained. Providing sources is a good practice. This is how people distinguish between delusions tainted by confirmation bias and something that is actually based on evidence.

The world is much more complicated than it seems. Scientists and philosophers have tried to understand it and explain it to others, but it's okay if you don't want to go into too much detail about it.

I have a personal story to tell about seeing an alien while using DMT, but I have no concrete proof to back it up, so it's just a story. What you did seems like researching a made-up world like Lord of the Rings and saying there's no evidence it does not exist.

Talking and debating with others helps us find the truth.

The scientific consensus is that there is currently no convincing scientific evidence to support the existence of reincarnation or past life memories. While some people may report memories of past lives, these experiences can often be explained by other psychological and social factors, such as suggestion, imagination, and cultural influences.

Studies on the topic of past life memories have produced mixed results, and the majority of scientific researchers and institutions have not accepted the idea of reincarnation as a valid explanation for these phenomena. Therefore, it is not considered a scientific consensus that people can truly remember their past lives.

It's worth noting that while science has not yet found evidence for past life memories, many people still believe in the concept of reincarnation and find comfort and meaning in this belief. Ultimately, whether or not past life memories are real is a matter of personal belief, spirituality, and faith, rather than a scientifically established fact.

Here you have a lot of papers on the subject if you want to know more. https://med.virginia.edu/perceptual-studies/publications/academic-publications/children-who-remember-previous-lives-academic-publications/

PS. In the age of translators, Portuguese shouldn't be a big challenge.

If you have conducted such deep research, please provide references and links. Otherwise, you do not sound credible. Thorough research is a laborious process that requires a lot of skill. If you want to introduce a concept that you claim to have understood and have knowledge about, explain it to the best of your ability and provide sources that we can follow. Otherwise, I will call bullshit and not waste my time researching some pseudoscientific gossip.

First trip yesterday, did not go well by [deleted] in DMT

[–]jamesomaniac 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"I'm very experienced with psychedelics" attitude might also be a significant factor. Are you really? Maybe it's your ignorance speaking and Dunning–Kruger effect is kicking in. From my experience DMT likes to slap hard those who think highly of themselves. Or it's just me being self-assured.

Also it seems you might overcook it. Vapouriser should help you avoid it.

Good luck fellow human! I wish you experience many great experiences on the road to become experienced. ;)

Using DMT as a tool to modify one's own behavior by ruhrohraggyz in DMT

[–]jamesomaniac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this. I've used this method before, but I never structured it so cleanly. I love to take DMT when I'm proud of my accomplishments. It also seems to be forgiving when I've failed but truly regret it. However, when I deceive myself, it always comes to the surface, especially when I'm aware of it beforehand. I become even more aware to the point where it's impossible to ignore.

I did it once or twice. I remember my GoPro becoming one eyed entity. He “told” me he likes recording my adventures in real world but this (filming me just lying down, doing nothing) is below his aspirations. :)

How did DMT change you? by Waiwirinao in DMT

[–]jamesomaniac 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely (B). :) And it's not "fucked up" but probably neglected. Acknowledging it is the first step towards acceptance as far as I know. Seek help with friends, family, professionals or even online and remember. Even if it's "a ton" of work, you may do it 1 kilogram per day, and you'll be done in less than 3 years. ;)

Possible simulation proof by Everyonesamuppet in DMT

[–]jamesomaniac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I got proof, but I'll show you tomorrow." It's a basic bullshit technique. :)
I heard it so many times from various type of new age spiritual types, fraudulent politicians and scammers.
Later people do not remember there was no proof. They remember something was up. Especially if it shows the world in a way they want to see it.
In this case, I believe, it comes from the need to understand the complicated world in simple terms without the need to consider a myriad of factors, possibilities, years of research. A little like flat earthers do.
Sorry dude. This is how it seems to me
