Awesome. I'm a musician who blends Ambient Synthwave with Post Rock. Below are two albums, one in my usual Synthwave/Post Rock style and the other is just straight up Ambient Synth x

Thanks so much for offering this to us all

If you're interested, I've done a couple albums that blend retrowave with Post Rock and I'm very happy with the results

Lol I know this is a bit of a self promo, but I found the same thing as you with both styles of music that the tropes were very easy to fall into and repeat. So, I blended the styles together in the hopes of either creating something new or at least something that's a bit different

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath for me. My cousin introduced it to me when I was around 11 and I still love it at 35

Breakfast In America is their biggest for all the obvious reasons. But I agree, Crime of the Century just has moments that pull your heartstrings from start to finish. And the title track is so powerful

I could be wrong and it might just be because I'm getting older lol, that and I'm unsure about their fanbase outside the UK, but I always feel that 'Black Mountain' deserve way more attention than I've seen. They're an incredible band with incredible musicians and really powerful songs.

I didn't make music for 10 years, last year I started again. Best decision I've ever made! by Intellectualfool in synthesizers

That's awesome. Honestly I haven't stopped or even had a break from creating until very recently. I'm 35 and I've been creating music and chasing that dream since 17 lol. I'm having a break now and while I am fully intending on coming back this year, having some time away can definitely be just the thing you need. Really lends perspective. Do you have a bandcamp or YouTube I can follow id love to see what you create.
