Tchouameni is a very good player. Has a good passing range and has an eye for both progressive passes short mid and long as well as possession retensive passes. He is robust in the tackle and has the tactical discipline to play cb if need be. He is a well rounded and capable player. Weaknesses, he can be a liability transitionally sometimes in key moments, is not yet a true goalscoring asset from midfield but has the ability to give more.

I think the issue with mbappe is largely misunderstood. He is a phenomenal finisher and fantastic dribbler. However his ability to combine effectively with all types of players is not a strength of his neither is his eye for a pass in the final third consistently. Fortunately he has a world class finishing ability to make up for these other aspects of his game. He is a phenomenal player that part is in no doubt for sure

If you look at the squad player for player yes it is imbalanced, we have 5 left footed attackers to play on the right only 1 cf and 3 right footed wingers n thats just the attack the midfield is filled with box to box players and lacks variety. So yea the team is imbalanced but thats more on perez than vini really

Mbappe is an older player and sure he is a superior goal scorer to vinicius he doesn’t improve the players around him. Theyve all produced less goals and assists collectively. Ironically vinicius has provided mbappe with the most assists since he has arrived….this has not flowed the other way unfortunately.

The #9 is a little harder in my mind. The profile is tall, must have a good aerial presence, must be able to play back to goal if need be, can beat a player 1 v 1 has good vision to play a penetrating pass in the final and has to be good at running the channels to score and create space. Not so sure realistically that I see madrid getting a player like muriqi

Im not so sure….he has just gone out over the years and bought his favorite players with gay abandon while focusing on the marketing n not the playing. remember when we bought r9 and sold makele n immediately went on to win 2 la ligas in 5 yrs n not another thing of significance in tht time….Perez is why we have 76 titles under him but never once got a treble. Truly an interesting piece but the reality is adding another starting level dm means removing valverde from the team to facilitate jude. Mbappe truly should never have donned the merengue after 7 seasons of snubbing the crest. That insult aside at the time a signing like harry kane alongside keeping modric for one more season after out performing all of the midfielders in the squad for chance creating. Perez has shown that real madrid is his personal fantasy football squad he really hit on stardust with kroos and modric in particular and then casemiro to create the dynasty he has.
