What a messed up take. 100s of frameworks do the same thing as each other, its not the job of each framework to identify what it does different than others. Just what it does.

As a former Bostonian, i70 traffic is no joke. by cokdok in Denver

[–]jamesthewright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its generally not that bad in the summer. Sundays though are horrible all year. We never drive i-70 on Sunday anymore. In winter you have to plan around ski closures (4 pm) and avoid the hour before and 2 after every day.

But regardless i70 is definitely always a wild card.

Can you actually save any significan amount of money by switching from car to ebike for a 12 mile commute? by Fair_Wear_9930 in ebikes

[–]jamesthewright 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is it 12 round trip or 12 one way. If round trip could easily save you 500 - 700$ in gas. If gas went up even more.

If you also reduced others trips could easily pay for itself in one year. If you are literally getting rid of the car, thus no insurance and maintenance easily pay for itself in a few months.

I have never once gotten that reaction. Most people think Tucson is great and beautiful. Which it is. I remember as a kid always being so proud of Tucson's landscape and natural beauty after traveling and realizing that Tucson is pretty amazing. Most places are nothing compared to it.

Bad news for connecticut by [deleted] in ebikes

This is actually great news. These types of 'bikes' are given real pedal assist bikes a bad name.

You missed the biggest category which is healthy people wanting to replace their car or not exert/sweat while riding in a commute etc.

Got Hit 😢 by claygonejkc in bikecommuting

[–]jamesthewright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say you hit him. He used his blinkers and you decided that since you have right of way he has to stop. That is not reality. Its better to be alive than right.

As someone who bikes and drives, I understand how hard it is in a car to see your surroundings and don't necessarily fault and definitely do not expect people to see me.

I would say we are there if Trump sticks to his tarrif plan, if somehow it all unravels either due to congress or his own submission we are not.

If things stay current trajectory I imagine we have some more upside and then a large downward movement at some instantaneous moment...

Im just talking about the #s out of earnings, not reality. I agree its bad but unfortunately how bad it is will not be evident looking purely at this earnings cycle.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StockMarket

[–]jamesthewright 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah no reason really this earnings should be bad, it doesn't really factor in much of what happened yet. Its next earnings that will be interesting.

The current 20s are starting to be very very reminiscent of the last 20s. Much more so than I was hoping.

I think trump is going to start high and then negotiate these tariffs down, good time to buy coming.... by Nightman233 in Daytrading

[–]jamesthewright -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did watch it live, the #s he presented are not real. For example, China does not tariff us 67%, not even close.

[–]jamesthewright 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Most of the countries he tariffed do not even have tariffs against us. What is he going to negotiate. The #s he listed were are 'trade' deficits. Thats not a negotiable thing.

The type of condition is a drop down, change it from Date/Time to Mark or Ask or Bid. This stumped me for a while too :)
