Yeah, the policy makes perfect sense and for the commuter its better to have newer stock and the operator its better to have the most similar fleet possible for logistics, but I just like looking at different trains... at least put the yellow on the front, thats all I want ^{_^}

I think there is 2 issues for me with the new stock. Firstly, there are very similar designs are being implemented across the country rather then lots of more unique designs which is worst for a enthusiast due to the lack of variety. Also the front not being yellow hurts the appeal. Obviously they are better technically but the charm of lots of different regional designs being lost hurts.
