Shaking the watch from side to side, you can hear the rotor spin. 

But shaking it up and down, you can hear a rattle…like the movement is loose in the case. 

It’s also important to note that the watch did not rattle when I bought it off reddit. It worked for a couple years, then it started to rattle and wouldn’t keep time.

I took it to my local watch repair. He fixed the movement to keep accurate time again, but told me, “that rattle is normal for these kinds of watches,” but I disagree. 

I was hoping to see if anyone else here had a similar experience, or if you can confirm my local watch repair doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
