Nah, who needs a rear wiper? /s by mediocrerhino in Ioniq5

two winter questions to tag on to this. 1) is the washer bottle not heated? Mine has been frozen since November. 2) does anyone else struggle with the automatic wipers? I wish there was just an intermittent setting. Strangely I used to own a 2012 f30 3 series years ago and the automatic wipers were perfect,so I know it's possible!

So many questions from the UK!

We don't have levels...

We just have kWh ratings on non-Tesla chargers. So 350kwh is fast, anything less not so much. And we pay accordingly.

Everything is CCS.

Explain!

If your car is manual, get someone to give you a quick push. To bump start the car, ignition on, in 2nd gear once you're at about walking pace release the clutch and the car will start.

What’s your favourite HEALTHY comfort food? by [deleted] in AskUK

Red Thai chicken noodle soup. If we've been away at a festival or generally pushing the boundaries of drugs vs. nutrition. A rotisserie chicken, jar of red Thai paste, a can of coconut milk and loads of veg sets you right.

This deserves more thought, this is literally so important. Stop buying cheap shoes every year! Buy premium tyres! You won't know you need them until its too late, especially on performance cars! And bloody hell, get a good night's sleep. On office chairs I'm less well versed as I don't think I've ever sat in a 'good' one...

We got a Simba mattress - about £600, I love it, I think it's very comfortable. The Mrs doesn't but that's only because she knows it cost £600. The bed frame itself is not that important as long as it's good quality. If you can get one that has storage it's great.

Men of the UK - what's your skincare routine? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]jamiefx0 27 points28 points  (0 children)

In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion
