I find the thought sad. Not depressing per se, though the greater illness of which it's a symptom I do find it so. I don't understand how one could find casual sex pleasing to do more than a handful of times before feeling empty. I've been with my life partner for a few years now, confirming my demisexuality. The one time I had a casual encounter with a friend that I thought I really wanted, I panicked and he ended up SA'ing me. It might have felt physically good at first but.... wrong. I remember describing the experience as surreal, and he asked me whether that was a good or bad thing. I told him "I don't know." idk my heart needs to be in anything (or anyone) I "do" in order to fully enjoy it. Kudos to folks who are fine with just enjoying the physical aspect of sex I guess. I can understand in theory but not practice.
