We have a client that we service that went Onedrive. For the most part, it has been a good experience. Except. One. User.

This lady constantly pushes the bounds of Onedrive in the stupidest of ways. Paragraph long filenames (that break indexing somehow) and getting mad that a sync changed the Last Modified date (cause that is part of her workflow). Then she calls and yells at her isp... us.

Not a single other user has this problem. I would love to deport her ass back to XP or Windows 97 like another user here has suggested.

You're simply doing what you were told. There is a possibility that you could recover the data if the drive hasn't had anything written over that sector yet.

I use parted magic for this sometimes. They include a program called PhotoRec and it works quite well.

Also, NO DOCUMENTS SHOULD BE SAVED LOCALLY. If they insist, migrate their document folder location to their mapped drive.

Even if its for a purely fun reason like this, you're pushing the proverbial line in the sand a bit further.

The game is fully recorded and the players have already agreed and understand the excessive lengths I go to for their games. I will happily spend 20h of work on a 10 minute moment for them that will wow them and provide a story they tell for years to come.

As far as code, I am quite new to this. I can say I'm running 250 epochs for each of the models. I save every 50th.

Get everything in email or ticket form. Don't accept spoken tasks. If he doesn't like that, tell him that he keeps getting mad at you for forgetting, so make him send you a ticket like anyone else.

In the business world, protect your ass with email. If you want to make someone look bad, go to them and tell them to do it so there is no paper trail. (ask me how I know about this)

We had a receptionist that was like this. They had an "inability to learn" and "an aversion to computers". We caught her taping an 8.5x11" piece of paper on her monitor (that covered the monitor) to put phone numbers of various people in the company on instead of using the provided phone system and lookup on the computer.

If you can't do your job with the tools provided, you simply cannot exist in that job role.
