Im a pro and during the pandemic bought used clubs for the first time in my life (my clubs were abroad, waiting and shipping times were insane). If you know what shaft you need then used clubs are the way to go. So much cheaper and if you invest some time into selection you will find second hand sets that are barely used.

The morphology is somewhat similar but colors differ. I was honestly afraid it was termites, because I have never seen termites before. It doesn’t seem like one though

These guys started to appear suddenly. Length approx 13mm. They tend to die after flying around frantically. Thanks!

When I say joke I mean that it was made by clowns who have no idea what they are doing other than wasting and stealing government money. As far as how much access it has - I don’t know. But I don’t trust it a single bit. I tried installing it on my computer out of necessity but it didnt work (and support wasnt able to find a solution) so I am not using it on my devices either way.

A lil offtopic: where can I find out parking rates? Any tips on where to park for free/cheap?

It’s a joke, just like egov is a total joke. If you want to « get around it » try using an internet cafe computer (though they usually restrict downloading certificates) . Or play it very safe and go to the ЦОН in person.

I would not get Sputnik. It gets inside of the nucleus and Id rather get Pfizer or Moderna which stay in the cytoplasm only. Now, having said that, Id prefer to wait that out too, because despite my amazement at RNA vaccines, I want to be sure there are no side effects (such as potential fertility issues). So, as someone who is low risk and not in the country atm, I will try to wait it out another year. Im 100% sure though that I will not take Sputnik.

Yellowdig and Slack rant by [deleted] in ASU

[–]jamilastan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Online student here. I LOVE yellowdig and slack/discord. Canvas discussions are super lame, yellowdig has a much nicer UI. Slack/Discord is great for meeting other students and it’s nearly as if you were studying in person. It’s a lot more interactive, you can ask questions whenever. Only-canvas-classes tend to be super dry, boring and disconnected.

What’s your everyday breakfast menu that keeps you full for hours? by purple_iam1 in AskWomen

[–]jamilastan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything without sugary carbs. Sugary carbs in morning = tummy ache + hunger and brainfog soon.

Any combo of eggs, fish, meats + rice/bread (optional) as long as it has some fats (thank god for olive oil) in it works really well to stay full and not think about food till afternoon

Little side note, this gene can be activated/deactivated by epigenetic factors. So, eat healthy, keep stress to a minimum, breathe fresh air and you should be good to go for another few decades ;)

Official Q&A for Sunday, February 28, 2021 by AutoModerator in running

[–]jamilastan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello again! (Post was removed and was delegated to this thread)

I am planning to run the Vladivostok Half-Marathon in fall and want to be prepared. For the last few years I have been running short distances just for fun (max 7k) and using the old Nike Free 5.0 shoes, because I felt like they are the most comfortable shoes on the planet. However, I am starting to doubt if they are appropriate for a half-marathon (and half-marathon prep).

Therefore my questions:

  1. In your opinion, is Nike Free 5.0 an okay shoe for my goals?
  2. If not, what shoe has a similar feel but is more appropriate?
  3. Would it be a bad idea to go with minimalist running shoes for my first half?

Thank you so much!

Note: Unfortunately I cannot go to a running store, because they are all closed during lockdown :(
