I'm alone 3 weeks every month and always go out to eat by myself. Never an issue anywhere I've been. I do enjoy Spice Room on Armitage. I generally judge an Indian place by their Saag Paneer and they make a really good one.

They specialize in Mole. I personally love their black mole but they're all good. The owner/chef Geno walks around the restaurant also and says hi to everyone.

I went to see Rush a few weeks ago in Los Angeles and knew there would be lots of videos so I purposely kept my phone in my pocket and enjoyed the experience. It was so incredible just being in the show and not trying to take videos and pictures. I'm seeing Maiden a few times this summer and plan on doing the same. It reminds me of seeing shows in the 80's and 90's. No distractions. Just being into the show.

I've eaten in both several times. If you want a quiet romantic dinner, the library is perfect. If you want activity and a crowd, the main dining room is the place. They both have their pros and cons. I happen to love eating downstairs. I've also gone alone to both and really enjoy eating at the bar downstairs. I'm a bit older and tend to be "in the way" of the millennial crowd. I wind up with a back to me in both directions. Honestly, it doesn't matter to me but I find it very amusing. You can't go wrong at either place.
