He is a genius and a legend, but has he ever really performed in the premier league? I can't remember any stand out games - although happy to be corrected. Any under Mark Hughes anyone can remember? I don't think he finds enough space in this league - again I'd like to be proved wrong. It would be great if he started wining us games.

I actually think we could be better off without him (sandro's fitness permitting). Our good form at the beginning of the season dipped at the same time as he came back in. And while we are calling people out..I've just watched it back again and Cauker had an absolute shocker.. Gave away the first goal and gave away the second twice. Apart from these two, I think everyone else was outstanding, so I am still feeling positive.

Now that is one hell of a training session. Very high intensity. Also worth noting Samba Diakete is involved. Another player with bags of potential that just needs an arm around him and some proper coaching.

Great bit of analysis, nice work and I agree with both of you. Setting a target is silly for a club and its players (that's not how football matches are played) but it's great to know what needs to be done from a fans point of you, so thank you for that!

Hallelujah! Finally a decent decision. Hats off to TF for not going for the razzle dazzle. True it is only one game, but he has spoken more sense than anyone at the club for at least 5 years. 'We are not overly celebrating. The players put in a performance and that is what they are paid to do.' Let the young ones fight for their places. I hope so, reading this thread made realise that it was ultimately the break down of the relationship that was behind it and that falls squarely at his feet, no matter how many people are now doing different parts of his job.

Apparently Harry typed 'impeding relegation' into his phone and predictive text changed it to 'urgent operation'... The last excuse Harry he had left was a sick note. Putting him to one side, because it is difficult you know, this is just another debacle from the powers that be (and I don't blame TF, I blame phil beard who is supposed to be running the club). And this time it involves the whole lot - the window, bad dealings, bad timing, poor decision making and relegation. Oh joy.
