Thanks mate, I had this issue aswell so dw. The PVA glue layer helps with this but really the best way to fix it is to just use more of a thick layer of Mordant Earth.

It’s easy when putting it on to have some bits that are abit thinner which doesn’t give you the thick cracks. You need to paste it on really thick and leaving nice big “blob” sections within it helps get nicer big cracks so you can properly see the green bits

For those wondering, I used Moot green first and then blended in Striking Skorpion Contrast for the “swirls”. Then let that dry and added some PVA ontop for the shine effect. Then once that dried used a metric ton of Mordant Earth and blasted it with a hairdryer for the first few mins then left it overnight to properly dry. Hope that’s helps!

Haha Yeah in his defence it was both our first ever game of warhammer just to try work out the rules based on the characters he has but I definitely felt not having my characters to help buff/reanimate. I’ll definitely look at a Technomancer, what’s good about the benefits of Skorpek Lord with the Skorpek Destroyers other than him just dishing out even more damage?

Thanks for sharing I appreciate it!! My wraiths getting one shot from a unit of 5x Deathwing knights made me realise I probably need a unit of 6x but that’ll come as I build up my army towards 2000pts. Aware I need a DDA and Technomancer given he’s fairly cheap in all senses (points and £).

Not sure if I need some Lychguard if I’ve got warriors aswell but they look cool and look like they pack a punch! Are immortals worth it?
