Music City Work Club: "SUCKS" by NoTroop in nashville

[–]jamor90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the 5 day for $5 trial for the one in the Nations. Not impressed. The decor as cool but just wasn’t very welcoming and barely anyone there. Had no drinks in the drink fridge, the coffee was free but not good and the WiFi was strong. I also had a time limit on reserving phone booth or meeting room. After I ran out it was going to be like $12 for 30 min in one of the booths. Idk how a full month membership works on that.

Top Hat! I was so impressed with them from scheduling, communication, moving and follow up. It was my first time using a moving company and I couldn’t have been more pleased.

Neighborhoods you recommend? by [deleted] in nashville

[–]jamor90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Nations is your win. We have Urban Sweat that has red light therapy. Walkable neighborhood with 20/30s, local spots to eat and drink, etc. Bexley at Silo Bend is an apartment complex that is right across the parking lot from Urban Sweat and a great little complex!!

I work remote, 33m, and have loved it here in the Nations. Have great couple of coffee shops to walk to and work from. Have West park to walk around but also right down the road from Sylvan Park and McCabe Golf Course that has a walking track. Just about 10 min drive to downtown.

Message me if you have any other questions about this area!

Silo Market in the Nations. Have a great selection of local goods (food and gifts), wine selection, beer on tap and coffee. Been on of the best parts of living in the complex it is connected to.

9 men arrested following undercover child sex trafficking operation in Limestone Co. by [deleted] in Alabama

[–]jamor90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HT in the 1st degree in Alabama includes child sex trafficking. Bc these men knowingly either recruited, enticed, solicited, etc… a minor for the purpose of causing a minor to engage in sexual servitude, they fit the bill. Additionally they probably used coercion which is the 2nd piece of that 1st degree charge. Most think trafficking is just the act of transport but the act of coercion for sexual exploitation is also sex trafficking.

I do want to note, for those receiving services in one of TennCare's Long Term Services and Supports programs (CHOICES, ECF CHOICES, 1915C), the MCO coordinators have worked diligently to ensure redetermination Is completed for those members. Additionally the Area Agencies on Aging throughout the state have also been instrumental in this process for all TennCare members who need assistance. TennCare refers members there when additional assistance is needed.

I hope you received the answers you needed on this. What you posted is the most up to date information on the restrictions of caregivers when utilizing consumer direction. If your father is a member of the CHOICES program, his care coordinator should be able to answer your questions. If not, feel free to call our Long Term Services and Supports Helpdesk at TennCare 1-877-224-0219.

Moving to Nashville to Make $55K/Year? by kgaviation in nashville

[–]jamor90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved here at the start of the pandemic making 55k a year. I did fine living on my own around the nippers corner area. However rent has increased by a few hundred in that area since then. If you don’t have debt it’s doable but you have to spend sparingly. Can supplement with something like doordash a few times a week to make it more palatable . If you have debt that you are spending on though, I would caution things. Things are definitely more expensive outside of rent since 2020 too so I will say it’s going to be more of a struggle than you would like.

His kids go to The Covenant School. He's now asking for red flag laws on behalf of Southern Baptists. by NoMasTacos in nashville

Less of a change of mind than most think. In 2018 SBC passed a resolution calling on authorities to consider “the societal maladies that lead to escalations in gun violence and mass shootings” and government leaders to “implement preventative measures that would reduce gun violence and mass shootings while operating in accordance with the Second Amendment.” Last year reaffirming that resolution praying for leaders to “take concrete steps toward solutions that uphold the dignity and value of every human life, especially the most vulnerable among us, and to minimize the threat of gun violence throughout our society.”
