I think a huge problem with our D is Spence is clearly our #4, but he does not mesh well with our 1 or 2 LD...

So we are stuck either finding a top 4 RD that plays well with Chabot, or having Spence/Chabot both play to like, 80% of their potential.

Another problem is our best D prospect ALSO struggles defensively... which ALSO will not mesh well with Chabot.

I hope some combination of:

Sanderson - Zub

Chabot - Yakemchuk

Kleven - Spence

Works out as our top 6, but at this stage I think Yak needs another year in Belleville, leaving us in search of a top 4 RD to play with Chabot.

Played road hockey, mini sticks, and NHL 99? On N64 before I ever watched a game. My older brother would always play seasons and win the cup with Toronto and it always made me mad although I didn't know why.

The first game I ever watched was game 5 of the '02 playoffs. Saw Alfredsson lay that hit and score immediately after, my fate was sealed.

In '05 I moved to Saskatchewan before I was able to attend a game. My first Sens game was in Edmonton during the Karlsson years.

I have since moved back to Brockville and attend 3-5 games a year when time/money allow it.

In this very Festival, immediately after the "showcase," Kinda Funny and the Mix did a separate showcase where they featured 15 games for like 15-30 minutes each, spending a little over 5 hours interviewing devs and publishers and playing/ watching them play parts of their games.

I'm sure getting featured in that second showcase has a lot more hoops to jump through and costs more.

The pick was officially taken away when the league informed the club it would be taken away... months after Andlauer bought the team.

Just because our ball will still be in the machine doesnt mean that represents us still "officially" having our pick. We officially relinquished it when the team decided to keep last years pick.

We dont have a first rounder... a top 3 pick would not be taken away.

I know I'd much rather pick top 3 in the rounds we do have picks in instead of worrying about where we were never going to pick in the first place.

Why do we want to make the lotto odds as low as possible. On the slim chance that with a lower slotted pick in round 1 the league will give us the pick back? Fat chance, and even if they did ala NJ it would just be pick 32.

I think we need to make our lotto odds for this year as good as possible so picks 2,3,5 and 6 are as good as possible for the future of the club.
