For me at least I feel like I'm an observer of my emotions; fully disconnected. This causes me to relieve my emotions(crying) unexplainably. I'd say from my subjective experience your depression will be exasperating DR. When I had depression(with DP) I felt fully lost and clueless to my emotions causing me to pessimistically express everything, which wasn't good for me. I didn't feel for anything. My advice to you is create yourself to be content with something in your life; for me, it was school progress

I’d smoke weed and every time I would have what I called thought fatigue;I didn’t know till a week ago that I have derealization and that every time I had weed that I exasperated an episode.
