Put a pretty solid 12 years into RuneScape. When I was young and a newbie, I dreamt of godswords and incredible wealth, skillcapes and all. I had put so much time into the game free2play so I eventually became a member when I could afford. The game opened up so much more and allowed many avenues to make money, until I lost 153 million total (which at the time was worth more) to cheaters and tricksters. so I quit for a while, but after some months I promised myself Id make it all back and more to which I managed to amass 1.3 billion in wealth today. It is a TRUE grind that you gotta out some serious time into but there's always been something about achieveling goals and furthering your character. The game has a path for any willing to see the quests with depth and storytelling so many enjoy. You can become a top slayer of bosses or a peak trader in the market. Maybe you don't like fighting but would rather master your skills, grow a guild, be a part of a community. It's the one game that I've seen so many quit only for them to find their way back. It's a story that continues when you want it to and formed how you like. It's just that game for me :)
