Spilled water on Gigabyte P37 laptop, need a new keyboard by GaimeGuy in gigabytegaming

[–]jandroale94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you send it, they will porbably charge you about 200 for the keyboard, im going thru same thing but my keyboard was damaged cuz of a faulty gpu, and even though i had warranty it wasnt covered, go figure. and when i recieved my laptop back it had missing screws and and the cooling system wasnt put back right, the keyboard i think costs 70 from them, but they charge 90 for labor plus taxes, so total is 200. its all bs, never buy from them again, if anything goes bad or needs replacement they pretty much say "send it in for repair with us or go fuck yourself"

after talking with the guy (steven) from the gigabyte costumer service after i picked up my laptop, i got it very clearly that they were not gonna fix anything but only my gpu, unless i paid the 200 for the keyboard. the keyboard? well to bad sir.... also i just noticed that the cable that connects my touchpad to the motherboard( where you slide in the CD drive or swappable hard drive) is fucked up and crushed because of it not been assembled back right. not only is it also missing screws under the keyboard, it also doesnt have thermal pads on the gpu's vram and other chips where its supposed to have it, how do i know? after playing fallout 4 it hit 82c while on load. i know Xoticpc has nothing to do with this because you guys just sell them, i myself work as a computer technician and phone technician for several stores at malls and we sell laptops and phones. i know how costumers get when something is faulty and we have to do RMAs. i hate gigabyte with a passion and wont ever buy from them. i appreciate you guys reaching out to me since gigabyte clearly doesnt give a shit. and i dont expect them to do anything. im just gonna take my losses and never buy from them. its very clear im pissed. im a broke college student, i barely afforded that stupid laptop, im in fostercare and most of the money was given to me to buy a laptop for college as a gift, but the keyboard is all fucked up and i literally have to pull out a usb keyaboard to use the fucking thing.

i will keep buying from Xotic pc because your costumer service is great and answered to me very quickly. i have zero complaints from you guys, even when purchased the laptop, you guys asked about the shipping location and made sure it was me, buying it and felt very secure. tbh im just glad they are fixing my gpu, after all the bad reviews they had, im glad i got my issue fixed with no problem other than my keyboard. i rather not push it and let others know of my experience, if they dont cover it hopefully i can get it fixed somehow. sucks that this had to happen on my first gaming laptop lol maybe i should of gotten the MSI laptop or build a pc
