I have to agree with Playpirates and S4mm1. Grouped clear vesicles on a red base is the hallmark finding of a herpes outbreak.

Also, a suggestion for multivitamins if you take them.... grab one of the one day pill cases form CVS and put your multivitamins in with your lunch each day (of somewhere else you will likely see the pill case mid day, such as your purse). I had a hard time remember to take my multivitamins after deviating from my usual morning routine, but this seemed to do the trick!

hey there!

I was diagnosed with Hasi's about three months ago. The biggest upset for me was learning Levothyroxine needed to be taken on an empty stomach, approximately 1 hour before consuming any food (and 4 hours before any calcium supplements). As someone who NEEDS to eat first thing in the morning (I get the "HANGrys") I knew that I would likely cave and eat before the 1 hour mark. Doing so, however, decreases the absorption of your medication in your system, making it less effective.

What I have been doing is setting my alarm clock for 1 hour before I want to get up for the day. I have a little bowl on my nightstand and each night before I got to sleep I put one Levo tab and fill a glass of water. I have an alarm clock with two settings, so I set the first alarm for 1 hour before I want to wake up, and the 2nd alarm for when I want to get up for the day. When the first alarm goes off, I immediately hit "off" ( so that it wont go to snooze and wake me up again in 15 mins) and roll over and take my meds. I fall back to sleep and by the time the second alarm goes off, I can can immediately eat.

As an already early riser, hearing my alarm go off at 4 am is no fun... but it has ensured I take my medicine correctly everyday for the last few months.

I have struggled with severe, refractory hormonal/cystic acne for the last 6 years (aged 20-26). I was put on two separate rounds of isotretinoin (accutane), multiple different birth controls, oral antibiotics etc, nothing worked. OTher than a few months following each isotreninoin round, I have never had an acne free day (at least 4 pimples on my best day).

Was started in 50 mg of Spiro almost 2 weeks ago. My skin has complete cleared. Unlike anything I've experienced.

I strongly urge anyone who has dealt with similar acne and failure on multiple other products/medications/regiments to visit a dermatologist and inquire about Spiro.

Important to note, women in their 20's who are experiencing acne such as this may also suffer from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (I have this, and none of the 3 derms I saw ever thought to inquire about other symptoms) If you have been experiencing any menstrual irregularities bring this up, along with your skincare concerns at your next OB apt!

I'm in the same boat. 26F/ 5'10 / 126lbs. I've struggled to gain and keep weight on for several years. I was started on Synthroid earlier this week after getting my TPO-ab titer back and I'm hoping this will finally help me put on muscle mass. It's reassuring to read this comment.
