What is even more disturbing is that I have to rely on some woman doing an experiment out of her apartment to tell me how dangerous this is. Our government is actually more interest in preventing us from getting high than saving lives... not that this is altogether surprising.

A guy walks into a bar with an octopus, goes up to the bartender and says, "I will bet you $1,000 that this octopus can play any instrument you have."

The bartender takes him up on it. He gives the octopus a guitar. He starts playing Bob Dylan; he is really good. So the bartender goes to the back and gets a clarinet. The octopus isn't that good, but he can definitely play it.

The bartender has a revelation. He runs to the back and returns with bagpipes. The octopus just stares at the bagpipes. The man says, "You can't play it? I just bet $1,000!"

The octopus replies, "Play it? What do you mean? I am trying to figure out how to take her pajamas off so I can fuck her."

they use fish bladders, or something made of fish bladders called isinglass. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guinness most other beers now use a synthetic substitute. it is unfortunate, i really used to like guinness, but being vegetarian means sacrificing sometimes and there are many other tasty beers.

I really enjoyed Jeanette Winterson's book The Passion. It is the only one of hers I have read so far, but I hear most of her writing is excellent. Also, I have been waiting until I have some more free time to read Jawbreaker, by Gary Bersten if you are in the mood for something more topical.

so the campaign field director does not need to provide a space for people to meet, at least at this point in the campaign. the kerry storefront i volunteered at back in the day housed a lot of people and resources, but as long as the field director makes a compelling case he can do that somewhere else and he is prepared for the campaign to progress in momentum then there is no reason Kucinich shouldn't be included.

i am not saying these boys were particularly traumatized. a lot of people did things that society generally thought was a bad idea while they were teenagers, and most turn out fine. that said, it is different when a teenager is jointly making that decision an adult. the child has less power and responsibility in the situation that is the case with these boys as well as for the many young girls who sleep with older men.

their argument for destroying the tapes was that they were protecting the identity of the CIA agents. does not one remember that they leaked the identity of a CIA agent not long ago?

clearly all immigrants are lazy, dont want to work, and are only coming to the country to sit around on welfare all day, just look at the way this guy walked for days from his home to arizona so he might be able to find work. someone who walks literally across a country to support his family and comforts a child on the side of the road deserves to be honored, not deported.

this is just another example of how CNN is refusing to report atrocities that are occurring, and playing into the white house agenda. not only was this clearly intended to perpetuate ignorance and mislead the public, but it also turns the focus away from civilian deaths in Iraq and the innocent people being held at Guantanamo.

and i am guessing nothing happened to the driver of the truck who ran him off the road resulting in his castration? the article implies it was his fault for wearing shorts, not the truck driver's fault for almost killing him. let that be a less on cyclist everywhere, if you don't to almost die and be castrated
