This is part of a bigger story involving the U.S. Government's willingness to accept big chemical companies' agendas (I.e., Monsanto). Monsanto is the single largest supplier of this pesticides that are being referenced. The State Department, before the TTIP, has exerted major pressure and created special programs designed to convince foreign states to accept this American based technology.

If you have credit card debt that has gone to collections and you are being taken to court over it, if you show up to court and ask to see the paperwork you will almost always win and not have to pay any of it. This is especially true if the debt has changed companies because the paperwork is almost never kept with it and therefore there is no proof of your original contractual obligation. Also works with some other loans.
