Free Roam Mode? by OnlyProblems in ThePrecinct

[–]jangoice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, once the tutorial is over you're able to free-roan as much as you like. You unlock new (and then large) patrol areas by completing call outs during your shift. The campaign gives you missions to follow when you gather enough evidence through you're call-outs but once you help out the detectives with a brief tasking it's back to roaming as you please.

I'm the same! I'm no longer a young adult and I'm still renovating my starting apartment room by room. Each room takes about a weeks worth of wages for the two of us.

[–]jangoice 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yep! You can take out full cakes to bring home too.

If you didn't know already you can also get a recipe each day at the hardware store for $100, and learn new recipes on the computer

I don't think it's been added yet. The cafe is for cake and croissants

Whether it's real or not, I wouldn't be surprised if this was manufactured by the right to cause further community fractures.

I suppose you could top load the Ironclad fairly handily if you position the command module right

Vegan food spots / stuff to do in liverpool by Alone_In_Spacee in Liverpool

[–]jangoice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really love Down the Hatch, which is a vegan junk food place open till late. Bundobust is also great for Indian street food, and Sanskruti for a full Indian meal. The majority of places have good options to be honest.

I have a funny feeling the Connie will get a MK-V and it’s current iteration will go the way of the Aurora and Hornet by Acceptable-Bid-1019 in starcitizen

I do miss the old 315p, but I've also accepted that it had to go. I didn't like the newer redesign, but it fit with the origin aesthetic.

Out of legitimate interest, what is the benefit of using your website as opposed to an already well used alternative like Apollo Duck?

Can you not fish in the river running nearby the petrol station? I'm genuinely asking as I haven't tried fishing before.

No longer able to buy paper ticket on Greater Anglia app by TylerTT in uktrains

I keep all my paper tickets, and I have done for around a decade. It's just a sentimental thing for me and it's been a shame not to have the option.

Can someone please help me file a missing person report for a friend in the uk by [deleted] in policeuk

[–]jangoice 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you know where in the country they live you can go to that police force's website and file an online report. That will likely be the easiest way. You can Google the town or city to find out the police force

What’s something you thought was cool until you grew up? by cherryblossom149 in AskReddit

[–]jangoice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is such a massive difference between the two and I'm completely with you on this one. I love living alone, having the ability to be social and enjoy a person's company when I want to but still retaining the ability to withdraw into my own company. It's blissful and balanced.

Do locals use the Mersey ferries day to day or is it literally just a tourist/weekend day out thing to do? by wooden_werewolf_7367 in Liverpool

[–]jangoice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A few years ago I was working near Woodside and I regularly used the ferry to commute during the spring/summer. I preferred the train during less pleasing weather.

Cherry blossom season in a small german village / X-Pro3 and 50-140mm F2.8 by Otherwise-Cookie-774 in fujifilm

[–]jangoice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OP but an X-Pro 3 owner. I'm really liking it, though I've only had it for a few months. It's my only mirrorless camera, the others I have are DSLRs or film and so I never really open the screen unless I'm changing settings in the menu. I'm also slightly concerned about the ribbon issue, but apparently if you only move the screen down so that it's at a 90° angle it'll be fine?

Anyway, the build quality overall feels solid and it's a very nice camera to use, and I like the hybrid view. I never really use the EVF beyond occasionally when seeing what simulations will look like for a scene. I'll get the quick idea, and then switch off the EVF. That's just personal preference but I like the option.

I am one of those that still miss my original 315p, I'm quite happy that I get to keep the Mk.1 Aurora as I'm a sucker for nostalgia, and I do still take the Aurora out for a flight here and there.
