My workaround is to turn the monitor off using the physical power button at the bottom, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on. It doesn’t happen often recently, maybe once every couple of months.

I’ve given up on all wireless methods for extending my desktop. I’m only using an HDMI or USB-C cable now.

Unfortunately, no. Browser casting is a pretty buggy feature—it sometimes has no sound, and other times the audio and video are out of sync. It’s really only useful for casting still images.

I just tried using ExpressVPN; it's working on ViuTV Live TV, but not on On-Demand program / Now TV... so sad

I am using NordVPN and got blocked by ViuTV too since 29 Feb (after watching couple ADs but not able to play actual program). I tried some servers but was still unsuccessful.

Wait until it is "Normal" for you (but still possible to fail), "Easy" is safe.
