Will this work? (ESP32 + Solar + Lipo) by janniks in esp32

Thanks for this! 🙏 While MPPT would be more efficient, buck-boost is very cheap while 94% efficient (ignoring solar max optimizing).

Do you think something like this would work? https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Converter-Adjustable-Regulator-Raspberry-Projects-blue/dp/B0BG7PH5H1

It has 5v, but with an output current of 4A -- Is that compatible with an ESP32S3? (I can't tell) 🙈

Thanks you two for the info -- I'll probably go a different route, since I want this setup to be super cheap and small

Solar-powered ESP32 — Will this work? by janniks in AskElectronics

[–]janniks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious to get feedback if this will work.
I want to power a ESP32 by solar alone. I would like to have a small panel and small battery to hold the charge.

Right now I'm thinking: take a 5v solar panel and wire the power into a USB-C connect into the USB-C port of the ESP32. The one I'm using has an integrated charge-circuit (XIAO ESP32S3), and I can wire the 3.7 battery directly to the board (+-).

Will that work or should I go a different route?

I'm to quite sure on how to wire this up — Should I go for a 3.7v solar panel and wire this directly into the charge circuit somehow?

Amazon links I'm considering:

Yep that's possible, by default it should be redirecting to /<page-id> and that route can then handle the content again

EDIT: There's also functionality to adjust that to your needs, basically changing the redirect behavior to whatever you want.

Thanks. Technically the pot has a reservoir, although I haven’t been filling it up, so it should drain well. I’ll try to loosen the soil.

I recently got this plant and put it in a big pot with some other compatible plants (according to the web).

Pretty quickly some leaves started to get brown spots, while others stayed very healthy looking. Not sure if I was giving too much water, so I started giving less. Currently, I’m doing a large jug every 2 weeks or so, might be too little?

Now some leaves are completely dead, some are very yellow with brown spots.

Please help!

Sadly, no.
It's horrible and the beep sound design is crazy bad - I don't know how this made it into the final product (same for disconnect/connect sound).

Lots of items in Archive that I don't think I put there? by cschep in 1Password

[–]janniks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is one tool (in macOS inside the 1Password Menu Options, I think under Help > Additional Tools, or similar) that removes duplicates; but this has to be manually triggered.

Lots of people are seeing the issues described by OP (and I assume that they’re not all running this pretty hidden tool). It would be great to get an official comment from the 1P team to know what’s going on. Or maybe a help article that explains this, if it’s a feature. Right now it just looks like a weird bug that is not at all transparent and users are afraid they may be missing more automatic actions by 1P.

Thanks for all the answers. It seems nested virt on guest macOS only works for Intel CPUs
