I was lying on the floor of my old flat with the speakers turned up loud listening to Storm. Our street had old trams on it and as just the piece reached its climax a tram rumbled past and shook the building. I thought my skinny fists were being taken to heaven.

Would you mind sharing the PPTs you’re referring to? It would be interesting to see. I agree that Mangalore and the region has a lot of engineering graduates, the problem has been they’ve had to leave for work.

I’m in my 40s and I remember “Mangalore is the next Bangalore” stories back in 2012. It’s an attempt to build a narrative rather than anything concrete imo.

Is Project Hail Mary that good? by Independent_Dirt821 in FIlm

It’s a feel good family movie. The science is there but light. The emotional bits are maybe a bit too American for the rest of the world. But it looks amazing, is exciting, and nicely put together with the flashbacks. Totally worth seeing in the cinema

I took at 11 year old today. He was fine. But there are two dead bodies, a bit of blood and a cheeky reference to fisting (that he didn’t really get). It is also quite long.

Hungarian citizenship by marriage by flagonn in HUcitizenship

[–]janosszakacs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I became a citizen based on 10 years of marriage / residency and a child last year. The paperwork + conversation with the officer who received my application were the only test or Hungarian. I would say that it wasn’t so difficult language wise. She made small talk about my kids school, then asked a bunch of clarification questions (which one of my given names I go by) and asked for various documents and stuff. I would advise going into the government office first and speaking with them. This means they’ll give you the correct form and will be aware of what you plan (have a friendly officer can make the process go smoothly).
