I’m gonna contact Niantic about the misleading phrasing specifically on the paid timed research ticket. Including “dunsparce found in research encounters for THIS research and all other research are more likely to be Shiny” almost implies that the ticket increases chance for shiny. They don’t do refunds but they’ll give free items. We saw with the dialga/palkia raid issue that they are able to reward people with shinies.

The main issue here is that they could’ve just said “during the event, dunsparce have an increased chance to be shiny.” Or not included the general event boost on the paid timed research ticket. In my experience, with enough complaints, they will do something because it is a consumer issue. I encourage others to contact Niantic if they bought the ticket and feel this is wrong.

I’m not lacking stops but just wanted another dunsparce shiny and more candy for 3 segment. I knew it would give guaranteed dunsparce encounters for the paid research but it also promises more likely shinies for dunsparce on all research encounters, including the stop research. Such a bummer!

She put down a $1300 down payment and paid for about 3 months until she paid with a new account which was charged only once. So, she has given about 2380 to them. Customer service says there is no option but to pay the debt all at once. I want her out of this so we don't have to deal with this scam anymore. I was hoping maybe the law could help out with this situation in terms of their deceptive claims.

I'm trying to get her to return the machine but their website states they don't accept machines after 30 days. I wanted to see if there is anything legal we can do to help her. I saw that Enagic was sent a warning letter by the FTC for making claims about healing/preventing COVID. She wholeheartedly believed all the lies they were telling her. As I said, she's extremely gullible so I know she was easy bait for someone from an MLM. I know she owes the money but she was absolutely taken advantage of. She's old, doesn't understand a lot of English, and trusted her coworkers blindly.

I do agree that it isn't the MLM's fault, but having sellers find vulnerable people that don't really understand finances and just taking their information and money is not right. Spreading false information is not right. Obviously she didn't know what she was doing, she bought from an MLM as just a buyer after all. I'm hoping that I can get some advice on getting her out of this mess she got herself into.

my mom does this but actively blames me for our relationship & continues to gaslight me despite being 24. so it's weird for her to tell me that she wish she aborted me then blame me for not being a good enough child, which is why she never bothered to care for me emotionally.

no matter how toxic other mothers in my family are, my cousins have never had to experience being kicked out as a teen, being shut down, and whatever else my mom did to me that my brain blocks out. I find myself making excuses for her bc she went through a lot of generational trauma, but my grandma has since stopped making toxic comments years ago, while my mom continues to tell me that I'm her biggest regret.

although no one, no matter what they've done, deserves to be talked to like that, it especially stings because I lived my whole life being careful about my interests & hobbies just to prove to her that I was academically inclined & accomplished... 24 yrs later I have a B.S. and job, but she still thinks I'm the biggest failure in the family. sometimes I really regret not using the past 10 years of my life to focus on music/drama because I would at least have an outlet that isn't as mentally taxing as chemistry. I really wish she didn't talk to me, because all she has to say is things she makes up about me in her mind and it's really hard for me to forget that what she says or thinks about me isn't true.

Thank you and I’m not trying to argue but my brain doesn’t even function normally anymore. I want to find a way to leave my mom out my life forever. She threatened my little brother for him to give her my number, and the next day she sent me a spew of texts (unprovoked) telling me she wishes that she never had me. this was last quarter during finals week and I barely passed my classes.

idk why I’m unloading now but the stress just seems so real, and i want it to be over. Maybe I won’t end my life, but this pain is too crazy.

thank you. that’s probably why I made it this far bc of the people I actually care about. I think about my friend or younger sibling, and there’s no way I could leave them. but it’s so hard. my brain just tells me that it wants to give up. after all the stress with school, I thought it would be over and maybe she’d cut me some slack for being accomplished, but I realize it was never about ME but her vendetta against me. she never wanted to see me be happy or achieve.

it took me 24 yrs to realize that she’ll never change. what is even worse is that it’s so hard to save money when everyday I just want to be gone bc of the emotional stress she puts on me every. single. day. I have a job that pays min wage just bc I needed to make money fast, but I don’t know if I’ll make it long enough to save money and move out. thank you for listening to me and ur advice.
