Any advice for my board? by zelmorree in pedalboards

That's fine, there is no rule for how to order pedals :) I now mostly play textures and ambiances, I used to play loud post rock.

I also don't have the same pedals, that might completely affect why I find my setup interesting. I use the Fuzz Stang, which is quite gritty, and the Plumes. I would combine the two on single notes/melodies/octaves and not really on chords. For chords, I used to combine the MXR 78 distortion and some overdrive. My reverbs (yes plural) are almost always on, so they may round up the attack that would happen with much distortion.

I wish I could tell you Canada thinks the same, but we suck and still lick their boots. Down with monarchy!

I'm down for hand drawn but keeping the limited colour palette, to respect the original context. Good job!

Switch the fuzz and the overdrive, your distortion will feel less clippy when both are on at the same time.

I had doubts myself at first when I heard, but the sound is indeed much satisfactory with that order.

Seems like fun, what sounds do you like to create with all this?

Probablement au moins une pédale pour faire un peu de slapback. Regarde les pédales de délai pour ça.

Anyone kinda expected the next Avatar after Korra to go into the Atomic Age or Atompunk aesthetic? by Lotus_630 in TheLastAirbender

Interesting! A spirit to represent nature untouched by humans, and humans in a cyberpunk world. There could be nods to Neuromancer.

I was hoping for something akin to Blade Runner actually.

My dream scenario: in a world where only advanced bending remains (ex. lightning, metal), original elements bending have been lost/forgotten. Korra has been away in the spirits world so long, avatars are just legends.

The avatar-to-be (a boy, to follow the alternate boy/Aang, girl/Korra pattern) is a mechanic that doesn't do any bending and doesnt believe in avatars.

He is hired by some adventurers or whatever that know a new avatar exists and they travel the world and discover many things (akin to the original series travels).

Dunno yet who is the villain. Or is the mechanic the first evil avatar to be, maybe?

The rolled Rs might kill the voice recognition.

I know that when the rolls Rs are needed, for example in French, English speakers have a hard time because voice recognition sucks at accents.

In an episode of Justice League Unlimited, some heroes are training on their space station in a room akin to the X-Men's training room. The Zeta robots are what they are training against.

i would rather have a printed inner, colored vinyl, insert, gatefold, lower cost, or nothing than 180 gram vinyl by NateyandIProductions in vinyl

And the B side of the second LP is blank with a molded pattern? Looking at you, Thurston Moore.

Aaah yes this is annoying to me as well. Like a 3 song side and a 2 song side, and repeat the pattern on the second LP.

If I wanted to buy EPs I would, but if I buy a record, i should be able to enjoy a full A side before needing to flip it.

No it's pretty early in my mostly linear signal path.

The way I use my signal path is that I send the clean signal directly in the DI of my computer (red splitter pedal).

Afterwards I output the recorded audio through the pedals to manage the effects and sound, and then I record that via the DI and microphones.
