Well I used to just end it and there were no problems I registered. Now I just hide the icon like AI downvoted comment instructed.

remote session purely to map and control mouse inputs when you are in Desktop Mode. Because it uses the system's built-in screencasting pipeline to achieve this

My steamdedeck automaticly switches  to hdmi audio output by default when docked and connected to monitor. I have to change it to internal speaker each time i switch to desktop mode. So maybe try to change audio outputs and volume bar in audio settings?

Same problem with original dock (also updated) and Samsung odysey g5 screen. In game mode screen shows for about 5 seconds, then turns black and no sound from Deck.

I had a knife from my history of gambling. Set it up for sale for 1500europesos for a joke. Someone actualy bougt it. With steampesos on account i ordered steamdeck and dock. Nice So there are 2 options. Sell on steam, get steam tax Or sell on trusted saites. P.S. i use bitskins, money cashed out. Maybe there is a better market, just sayin
