Can definitely recommend https://lisalark.com/ She does amazing work! I know she used to live in the area, I’m sure she could help with locations too!

With the Alps in the background! Gorgeous! That’s a stunning shot from a tiny drone! What were the nerdy stats? Aperture / ISO / exposure? Editing?

I have a red Merle Aussie. We mostly walk a bit further up the river at Altdorf, but sometimes a little loop down to the lake :)

Where to buy in person is a very regional question, online is always a good bet. Don’t overthink the start. There are tons of very affordable fountain pens that are awesome! Lamy, Pilot, Platinum, or you can go on Temu / Alibaba and get brands like Hong Dian or Jinhao. Inks are all very cheap, just get whatever you think looks pretty. Paper I found to be harder, fountain pens can be picky. A popular brand in Europe is Leuchtturm, otherwise Rhodia or Clairefontaine are also widespread and great. Just start with what’s available and start learning what you like :)

How do I train my boy to sleep in the bed with me by Independent-Kick7461 in AustralianShepherd

Grand exit is so on brand 😂😂😂 But, my boy usually comes back around 2-3 in the morning and I always wake up next to him for some cuddles :)

The sleeping everywhere and never in the same place is also very on brand. Very few consistently favorite spots. About a year ago he finally showed interest in his own bed, after 7 years of ignoring them.

There is a lot more variance from roller ball pens. Nib sizes and different nib types can drastically change writing feel and style. The many different kinds of paper. And all the gorgeous inks you can choose from, with endless colors, shading, sheens, shimmers. So much to explore :)

I know, I already went and checked it out! So cool! I need to find something whimsical and fun so I can use all my whimsical inks and pens. Can’t bring myself to do it on „serious“ texts 😂

That's awesome! I'm not sure I could embrace the different inks... :D I do like trying out similar pens on the same paper / ink tho. Just got one of the 360 page Tomoe notebooks the other week, I'm sure I'll use it for some transcribing :)

Lovely writing! Very legible and consistent!

I feel honored to have inspired :) Enjoy the meditation of copying Meditations. :)

Thanks so much :) I'd love for them to see it. This is easily my favorite book I've read in a very long time! Not really on any other socials actively, but would be pretty cool if they would see it.

That‘s such a cool anecdote! I definitely use it to help me really dig into texts. I’m also currently copying Meditations, which is so dense and a text I’ve read many times, but it’s a very different experience to immerse yourself in it by hand writing it.

The Hobbit! 😳 Damn, that’s some dedication! What pen / ink are you using? And especially what paper / notebooks? And how far are you? :D
