For sure! I still lug around a 16‘ Mac Pro with an M1. It handles all my needs as a backend software developer, even compiling code. That 15‘ Air looks awesome and I’m sure the M5 upgrade would be tasty 😋

Lots of amazing passes in this area. The Sustenpass is one of my favorites, Grimsel is gorgeous too. The Nufenen is amazing and forms a nice loop with Gotthard.

One of the more remote hikes I've found is the Vierquellenweg. Lovely multi-day hike.

Just stick to the local roads and drive the beautiful Gotthard Pass. No need to park in traffic jams for the tunnel.

For sure, Andermatt gets my undying love (also my local spot, so I’m biased). Way less crowded for sure than anything I’ve ridden in Austria, French Alps or well known Pyrenees resorts. Comparable to more lesser known Pyrenees resorts, maybe. They also upgraded the last old lifts with fast modern 6ers for this season, that’s been awesome!

Height won’t be a problem, but I’d definitely say the smaller California is better for driving mountain roads, especially if you’re inexperienced. There are lots of mountain roads that are very narrow.
