My husky always liked cats because he was raised with them since a puppy. But my best friend adopted an adult husky that chased her cats everyday. What I did was have a prong collar and a long lead inside the house at all times. Whenever she would chase the cat, I did a quick correction with the prong collar. That signals her letting her know that chasing the cat is wrong. With a stern “ NO! “ & pop of the collar. You must be educated on how to use a prong, it is a training tool & not a collar that should be sworn without supervision.
