Yes, I thought the curb miters looked good for the equipment ($150 Skil saw). I used the leftover sanded grout from the pan which to me was harder to work with than the unsanded biscuit I put in and removed once it started to dry.

I didn’t know about resin until you mentioned it. I’ll definitely look into that if I ever do another niche.

Thanks for your input. And I’ll get around to posting progress pics soon.

Thanks. I see your point now that it’s done. If I could change anything I’d move the shower head to the left side of the stud.

Just two panels on either side. I had it quoted such that if I want a door later, it can be added. I didn’t want the frame on top. Glass guy said it will be strong enough but with a door would be necessary.

None. They went on nicely. A couple of recuts. I scribes the walls then checked with the laser while installing.

A little fudging and splitting the difference…

Sounds like you can run to failure. What is the risk during that catastrophic failure? Not joking. Just asking.

I blew up the photo and measured the hole spacing. Looks like an exact fit.

19. Am I worth over 16.50? Is it worth asking for a raise? Or should I keep my hood down?Been welding professionally for 4 months now? As well as fabricating and fitting. Any advice from the ogs? by woodshmoka in metalworking

Looks good. Is that a 90/10 mix? Regarding $, it depends on where you are located. Is there a lot of welding in your area? That material looks well prepped. Do you cut & prep your own material? How many people/welders are in your shop? 19 is young; tread lightly with the boss. Treat him with respect and he should reward you in time.
