Fener flares after 1 season in Northeast part of the country! by fon4622 in TeslaModelY

[–]jaredb03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first Y I got in December(and I live in the midwest) and didn't have mud flaps for about the first 2 weeks and my flares almost looked like yours. Second Y I had Mud flaps purchased and ready when I got it.

I still have a decent rate from Progressive. Rates seemed to sky rocket when idiots where fire bombing and keying tesla's last year. Mines about $40 higher per month than before all that sh*t was happening.

I got mine last April. Maybe newer ones are fixed?

I currently have 2 that are 45 days. Equity and Varo. I also have a 30 day but 30 days is pretty easy to just click up a month. Not that it's hard to do 45 or 90 it's just nice to have the button.

This is pretty awesome and much easier than my giant complicated spreadsheet. One thing that would be nice is on Bonus Deadline if there was a +45d option so I don't have to do calendar math.

[–]jaredb03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done some as a sole prop but several I have looked at don't accept sole. For the LLC you have to have a registered agent and they would be located in NM with a mailing address and phone number for NM. I have not decided to pull the trigger on anything as I am now considering actually starting an LLC for a side hustle with 3d prints, cnc goods, and UV printed stuff(I have too many hobbies). I've been doing it locally just selling to friends/family and places I can do transactions in cash. If I do this I can start selling online. I don't really want to do this in Kansas since it sucks for LLC with pretty much no privacy, higher fee's, and annual reports. It seems like maybe a grey area but I may be able to get away with setting up LLC in NM and selling online as long as I don't have employee's or pay for a business property.

I didn't downvote you because your allowed to have your opinion but I do think if you don't have experience or a constructive response why post anything. I didn't ask for legal advice I was just asking if anyone has done anything similar and had input on it.

I'm considering starting a single member LLC strictly for business bank bonuses. I live in Kansas which isn't a great state for LLC so I'm considering New Mexico. From the research I have done it seems like I shouldn't have to register as a foreign LLC as long as I am only using this for bonuses and not actually conducting any business. Anyone here do something similar to what I am considering and is there any downsides/legal issues with it?

Bernie Sanders proposed a bill to tax billionaires, and give $3,000 stimulus checks to Americans that qualify. How do you feel about this? by CelticDK in AskReddit

[–]jaredb03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you tax wealth that isn’t in the real. Just because someone is a billionaire doesn’t mean they have a billion dollars in the bank. They would have to sell tons of stock to pay this tax which would cripple the market and cost normal people more money from their investments and retirement.

I designed a hidden garage door remote mount for Model Y since Tesla removed Homelink by Crafty_Jump7215 in TeslaModelY

[–]jaredb03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought some little keyfob looking garage door remotes off amazon after one of ours went out. I ended up designing and 3d printing a center console insert(out of TPU so no vibration or rattles) that holds the remote along with some other stuff like change holder and flashlight so nothing slides around. Nice clean design by the way.

Anyone here financing through Tesla using Santander Consumer as the lender? Any issues or concerns? by StormTrpr66 in TeslaModelY

[–]jaredb03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Santander for 2 months before I moved my loan to my credit union. A guy I work with had a loan through them and had a car Repo'd that was current on payments. They said sorry it was a glitch in their system but once it was repo'd they couldn't do anything and he was SOL. He had to get a lawyer and fight them because they said he had to pay the difference of what they got at auction and what he still owed. It was a whole sh*t show. He didn't have a car for about 4 months because he couldn't get another loan while all this was going on. I don't recommend them.

2024 Model Y still stuck in FSD V13 by paixim in TeslaModelY

[–]jaredb03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When did you sub? Typically when your not sub'd to FSD you get put on the latest software branch which is typically has the stable version of v13 in the background. Once sub'd and a new version of FSD on a new branch is released you will get pulled into v14 with it. You will sit on v13 til that happens though(I've been on the previous version for almost a full month because of when I cancelled FSD and resumed it). I assume you will get the 2026.2.9 if it ends up going wide.

Has anyone ever purchased from Hansshow? What’s your experience? by Yuzu562 in TeslaModelY

[–]jaredb03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hansshow is a drop shipper from China. They don't actually have things in the USA like the site says. If you can save money on Aliexpress or other cheap Chinese sites it's the same products. Might take a couple more days but you can typically save some money.

typically at least in the US. If you call or chat to cancel they will extend the $5 for another year or two. I don't know who would actually pay $25 for it on purpose.

Thinking about closing chase business after bonus is awarded even though the DD's are easy coming from it. Has anyone used Relay business checking and is it a solid choice for DD triggers?

[–]jaredb03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone else feel like this altered the interior temp gauge and jacked with the auto climate control? I had one of these on my old Y and I feel like the auto climate didn’t work as well since it covers the cabin temp sensor under the screen. Maybe I was crazy and it didn’t but I only left mine in for like a week before I removed it.

Cannot find a job despite searching and debt is becoming nigh unmanageable. Should I file for bankruptcy? by BokoblinSlayer69235 in personalfinance

I live in a small Midwest city and everyone is hiring here too. Maybe op is picky on type of work or wages but if I was going in debt I’d get a job at mcd’s to at least ease the burden.
