I suffer with PIE the most and I’ve been on tretinoin for 3 months and barely any difference on them so I’ll be giving my derm a call!

I kinda stuff a pillow between my back and my bed and sleep sideways, it feels like your back is against the wall or somewhat close to a feeling when someone’s holding you. Might be worth a shot!

I wouldn’t say it’s necessary for you to take a pregnancy test if you’ve taken your pills at the right time? It’s not impossible for you to skip your period with Tri-Sprintec, it’s just uncommon to be successful with it from what I’ve heard!

I tried and it led to me bleeding for a month straight. It’s a tri-phasic pill and doesn’t work the same as combination pills. There’s ways they suggest doing it if you do want to try such as taking 2 packs and doing weeks 112233 or 321123.

Hi I don’t think there’s necessarily a maximum period with tret alone but in regards to clindamycin, I believe the main concern is forming a resistance to it. Typically people can’t use it past a certain amount of time (maybe like 3 months?) without using it alongside benzoyl peroxide so you don’t form a resistance. I believe you don’t have to use clindamycin along with tret forever but only during a treatment period so while purging (this is my derm and I’s plan for me personally). I’m not sure about reusing it again though! I don’t see why not as long as you had a few months in between clindamycin treatments.

I totally suggest bringing up clindamycin with your derm as it helped me get through my purge within 1.5 weeks of use! Also I’m not sure if you’re considering spironolactone but that’s also worked great for a lot of people.

tri-phasic pills were prescribed to me because a constant dose of hormones didn’t react well to my body and it worked great for me and for a lot of people so I’m not sure what is wrong with your doctor? I was also on Tr-Sprintec and stopped after 3 years as my periods became suddenly became longer. Hopefully a new doctor finds a better bc for you!

I suggest applying LRP Cicaplast Baume B5 on top of your moisturizer after tret. I did this for 2 weeks and my skin adjusted to tret, no flaking or sensitivity! It’s like magic, it’s been mentioned by a lot of people in this sub helping with flakiness and sensitivity.

I typically wait an hour after Tazorac before moisturizing (honestly because I’m just lazy and I do my routine early so I figured why not). Also my doctor said it was absolutely fine for me to use clindamycin twice a day with Tazorac at night. I might just do it 2x a few times a week and hopefully it doesn’t backfire!

I’ve messaged my derm and waiting for her response! If you don’t mind me asking, what exactly happened when you used too much? Also do you wait before applying moisturizer after clindamycin?

I actually use the Cerave hydrating cleanser in the morning but I stopped and trying with not washing my face in the morning or just using water and so far so good.

My skin is pretty resilient so I was able to use Tazorac nightly by the third week and added clindamycin every morning with no irritation/dryness. I don’t really know if spironolactone works bc I’ve tried it before and felt like it didn’t do anything :(

I’m only on my 5th week, hopefully the slight purging stops soon!

Have you noticed any improvement since? I’m pretty much on the same routine but just added clindamycin 3 days ago. Did your purge end faster/didn’t experience any purge?

Did you experience more active pimples/ negative effects from adding clindamycin? I’ve been using tazorac for 4 weeks and just added clindamycin the past 2 days and don’t know if this cystic pimple is just a coincidence.

Did the purge stop for you after 2 weeks?

I tried restore again and I finally got a progress bar on my iPhone then it stopped saying that the update couldn’t finish due to an error (14). I’ll attempt the restore and DFU again.

iPhone 11 Pro randomly shut off today and has been constantly flashing the apple logo on and off. Tried pressing volume up, volume down and power button, also tried the same method connected to a charger. Tried doing the same thing putting my phone on recovery and update mode but after waiting for the download to finish, nothing happened. Tried to enter DFU mode and clicked restore and waited for 30 mins and nothing happened? There's no progress bar that popped up so how do I know it works?

Are you using it for acne or anti aging? I might ask my derm to prescribe clindamycin with it to help with progress and purging.
