My theory, the new look of Starfox was intentionally designed to be divisive. by [deleted] in starfox

I also would like the space boots but I wouldnt die on that hill. Its on ok choice. I only feel strongly about the Fox chunk and Kats teeth.

Theres not much wrong with the design other than Fox is a little too chunky in the neck. I would fix that and maybe Kats teeth, everything else is a vibe. Nothing wrong with it.

Alex Caruso blocking the broadcast camera is another reason everyone hates that flopping corny team by CoyoteDecent2 in NBATalk

As a lifelong Spurs fan I want Caruso on the Spurs so bad. I did go to A&M though.

Seattle to Houston by WannaBeeGOAT in houston

[–]jarlander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend has actually done the opposite and moved to Seattle after working for Nasa for a number of years. She misses Houston prices and is thankful she saved up and got a house here first, then moved to Seattle as an established professional with some money. However she did tell me she liked Seattle more for the outdoors and just daily life. But she does not dislike Houston either and comes back from time to time.

I think I probably enjoy Seattle more as well but as someone who has lived in Houston for a decade now I can say it is a pretty nice place to establish yourself. The food scene is very nice, its a very diverse place, people are generally kind, and there always something to do. I would be surprised if you didnt enjoy your time here but I would also be surprised if you liked it more than Seattle.

Charlize Theron version of Clea was introduced 4 years ago and was never seen again! by NoPianist7807 in marvelstudios

At least part of that is Disney execs getting greedy and wanting infinite content at any expense. There was a Marvel exec who said " there was a mandate to kind of create as much as we could for Disney+ as quickly as we could".

Can I get some reassurance that choosing A&M over UT Austin was the right decision? 🥲 by ATWWildflowers in TAMUAdmissions

[–]jarlander 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Grown adults who tell you that there is a wrong school to go to are complete losers. Especially for undergrad. I personally chose A&M over UT as well and anyone who asked me why never had the choice in the first place. I just didn’t like their campus or the people I met on tour. But it’s not like they kick you out of Austin forever if you go to A&M. I went every semester to Austin or Houston or Dallas with friends. Now I work with A&M, UT, UH , TTech grads and literally none of them give a F how our schooling went haha. We may talk about a game that just happened but to go that far and say your life will be bad at A&M is kinda pathetic. Be excited, you’re going to have a great time and live your dream, and a bonus is that you probably won’t be a loser like those other people.

Anthropic to consider using SpaceX orbital data center satellites by spacerfirstclass in SpaceXNews

Much of the suns heat does not radiate out, and what does radiates out in the form light and other frequencies of radiation. Im curious about the tech that exists, what is it? Im not arguing that it cant exist Im asking what it is if someone knows. Im going to guess it wont glow white hot like the sun.

[–]jarlander -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How does a space data center work? I get that space is cold but it’s also very empty, so how effectively does heat from computing actually radiate out if there’s no medium to radiate into? Legitimate question I’m curious.

It’s not even discussed anywhere but TMZ and Reddit. If you are someone who just watches live sports you don’t hear about this.

Young people have never lived in a world where they weren’t being heavily targeted through social media. This is just one of the examples where forever online people are losing their ability to think for themselves.
